Just thought I'd try and squeeze in an entry today. I'm between classes in the campus computer lab now. I just had lunch (the cafeteria chili is very good). Did my stats class today and got my notes done. Animal Development is up soon, hope I can get it done and out of the way today and tommorow.
The anime club at my campus screening His and Her Circumstances, Full Metal Panic and Ninja Scroll tommorow evening, but I have a free day and it'll be my best chance to try and understand this Organic Chemistry bullshit, so I'm not going. Besides, I have the DVD of Ninja Scroll, I just haven't watched it yet. I'm not into the gory stuff, personally. Hopefully, I'll go to the next screening, if I can.
I'm also feeling quite tired. I didn't sleep very well last night or the night before for various reasons. I'll try and nap tommorow after my one morning class. I'm enrolled in the afternoon lecture for Organic Chemistry, but I understand the morning prof a lot better. That and I don't have a lab this week (it's next week), so I can just look up some papers for a project then come home before noon.
I notice that when I'm really tired, I get microsleeps. I can't help but close my eyes at the worst times and sort of doze for a few minutes. One of my Field Ecology profs, Boonstra saw me doing it on my field trip at the Oak Ridges Moraine and thought I was sleeping because I was bored by his pre-forest survey lecture, I think it pissed him off a bit. I haven't started to microsleep yet, but it does happen when I go for more a long time, like more then 3 days in a row without a good sleep.
My cold is getting a bit worse, but I should be able to hold out and slog through my shift at work today. My nose is starting to run a bit and my cough is hurting my throat, but I've been battling it with hot drinks and soups. I need to ask the manager about some of the cash register codes again. I had another interview last week for a job at the new campus resturant, called Bluffs, but they haven't called me back yet and even if they do, I don't think I'll take their offer. It probably won't be better then what I have now. Price Chopper's paying me $7.15 an hour. Barista at Bluffs might get me some tips with minimum wage, but I'd still have to spend money on travel and it would take time out of my studying if they called me to do weekends. Price Chopper, I just need to walk home.
Well, got 15 minutes before my last class. I'm itching for my free day today. Bye.
