Hello again...I should've put a journal entry a day after I got back, but it seems that I haven't. I will describe my Disneyland trip in a sort of summary, and maybe some other updates...if you would like to see another version of the trip, check out NittleGrasper^-^'s journal.
Okay, it starts off on Friday, April 7, and NG and I wake up at five to get ready and go to the school. At seven, the 97 students load into the two tour buses provided and prepare to journey to an Anaheim Embassy Suites hotel for six to eight hours. On our arrival, everyone is given thier card keys to thier respectable rooms (we chose our roomates in advance). My roomates were Catherine, Angie, and Sammy by the way....After an hour or so, we load into the buses again to go to the Medieval Times resturant. The place not only has dinner, but a tournament as well! The whole place is divided into colors: red/black, blue, green, red/yellow, and black/white. All of us music students were sided with the blue knight! And coincidently, I was wearing his colors....(a Lacoste navy jacket btw). As for the dinner, three words: It. Was. Huge. All of us were served a small chicken, ribs, potatoes, garlic bread, and veggie soup, as well as some soda.
During the tournament, everyone was cheering thier asses off. Even though all the stuff was "planned out", the audience was totally into it. It's obvious that those who were on the blue side, wanted the blue knight to win. We even had a sort of stadium chant which helped out a lot....and through our efforts, the blue knight does win the tournament. After two hours of screaming, cheering, and feasting, there was a chance to take a look at the giftshop...I wanted to get something, but we had to be at the buses ASAP to return to the hotel.
Well, that ends the first part of the Disneyland Trip....the other events will come in later entries. Until next time....
