Today I went to see the nutcracker. Ah, what a nice thing to do c:
Except we were in a box and had quite an obscured view. And we shared the box with some lighting equipment and wires, which I don't ever recall turning on....
Ah well, I dangled myself out and had a good view of some parts of the stage, at least.

It was a bit of a modern interpretation...chinese tea even did a bit of body-popping.
If I'm honest....I thought the choreography of the grand pas de deux with the sugarplum fairy and her man/prince wasn't qiute spectacular enough for the music :c

The music was good though.
And it was all nice and christmassy, and afterwards we went to the chriskindle market and I had some platski.

EDIT: it's ironic that a nutcracker themed ei came out just now too.
I bought two ;D
In the fanthread I speculated that I thought each evolution would be themed around one of the sweets, and no one took any notice.
Then much later, after the first evolution, someone posted the same theory and everyone was quoting them and saying to put the post in the "speculations" on the front page.
I know it's really childish, but I feel affronted and a bit jealous :c
