So yeah. Here I am again to make one of my witty or sarcastic observations about life. Or at least, I was. I was all set to ramble on at length about the various reasons different people like to create. Like authors, painters, sculptors and the like. But that whole idea went out the window when I got to work tonight.
Turns out the project for which I am currently employed is being scaled back. This of course is management speak for "Except for those six people over there, the rest of you only have about a week left here." So yeah, my brain started down this all too familiar track. What comes next?
Honestly, I don't know, but to tell the truth I'm not too worried about it. Can't tell you why exactly, really, just that I'm not. I stopped worrying about a lot of stuff several years ago. It simply isn't productive in any fashion, and rarely helps any given situation.
So now I get to figure out how to get a job during the holiday season (a time in which many employers are in a layoff cycle anyways) so that I can continue to feed the two little munchkins that live with me, and a waife as well who happens to be 6-months along with making munchkin number 3. How? Dunno, but I'll figure something out.
