Being sick sucks. No doubt about it. And it's not just the hacking, coughing, or whatever you particular symptom is. But the after math is no picnic either. THe achy, tired feeling in every muscle in your body. As if you needed a reminder that your internal defense system just waged a war inside you. But while being sick does suck, being taken care of always makes it suck a little less. Someone bringing you soup, someone to tuck the blanket a little tighter, and someone to make you take the nasty tasting medicine. Whether it's the spouse, the significant other, or if your really lucky, the Momma. If you're one of the many people out without anyone to dote on you, that's okay, you can still pamper yourself. Hot showers, hot soup, blankets fresh from the dryer, and gratuitous movies/anime of your favorite sort. And before you know it, you'll be back in gear, usually just in time to go back to work. Well, there's always the next weekend. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go lay down and continue to sleep this off. Bleck.
