Long ago I once heard you said
" i like you, More than a friend"
I remember standing there shocked
I feared of change between us
I was scared...
So i simply smiled at you and said
" We are close"

Then months pasted..
Many people asked you who you liked
And you told them me
It warmed my heart hearing that
Was I in love?

I thought about this hard
Was i?!
Or could this be another of his puppy love?
I didnt want anythng to change
So i pushed myself back from saying anything

Next thing i knew years pasts
Infact 2 years pasted
They asked him again..
And he said me again
My heart skipped
Even this long he still liked me?
Maybe this isnt another of his puppy love?

I started to care for him
I wanted to put a smile on his face
i got closer to him
We were as if a couple?
That what people thought
But...
My words changed everything
We were like FAMILY

Another year pasted
They asked him the same question
I was waiting to hear something pleasing
But i end up being stabbed to the heart..
He said " I dont like her anymore, I like someone else"

I should have known it was only puppy love
I got my hope up too high..
I end up falling in love..
I end here in the dark crying..

but when i walk out from the dark...
I see him...
And you see me standing there smiling as if nothing happened

Will he be my next crush?
or am I going to run away like the other time.
