Once upon a different time
and upon a different planet
there was a place called Ered Carnin
that the Earth-Gatheres called home
among these was the beautifull Lhun
with eyes as grey as the sky
and hair the color of rain
At every fourth moontide
she would lay awake
and listen to the butterflies sing
whilst thier glowing wings would paint
wisdom on the wall
and as she learned to paint amongst the butterflies
so her wisdom grew
In this place called Ered Carnin
there also were the fae
with gilded wings and Eathen souls
they ruled the clans upon it
once elegant and fair, their power unsurpassed
now greed had filled their emerald hearts
killing the beauty within them
And so it came to pass
that the wise and beautifull Lhun
saw through the masqurade
and became aware of hate within the fae
her pure heart was torn by grief
in relization that there was no good left on Ered Carnin
she alone remained
Chosen by the lingering cry
of Ered Carnin's soul
to do what must be done
she reached for that place deep within herself
the purest, lightest part
and closing her tear filled eyes
she opened up her heart
In a blinding flash of light
she tore the planet asunder
a sole beacon amidst agonizing chaos
she poured herself into the destruction
and then there reamined nothing but one thousand glowing butterflies
surrounding her limp body
to carry home their sacrifice
