Chapter 2
"c'mon Kira! lets go!" said Niirochi, shaking me.
i groaned and got up. i grabbed my uniform pants from the edge of my bed and grabbed the coat.
"hey try not to wake up at 5:30 next time oka-" i turned around and found the room empty. i put my books and iPod in my bag. "oh well," i said as i grabbed my bag and left.
i threw the top on over my black tank top as i walked to history class.
i got there early, as usual, and took my normal seat in the back right corner of the room. im usually the only one there but not today. there was a black haired body in the front left side of the room. the body turned and looked at me and i immediatly looked down.
i could here his chair move and his foot steps come up the stairs of our auditorium like room.
please be leaving, i thought.
"i dont mean to disturb you, but is this history class?" said a familiar voice.
i looked up and found myself staring into deep blue eyes that were placed into a pale face that was framed with long black bangs. the rast of his medium length hair was tied back with a dark blue ribbon.
"uh yea," i awnsered.
"thank you. um may i take this seat?" he asked motioning to the chair next to me with a bandeged hand.
"if you want. i dont care," i said looking down again.
it was when i started writing in my journal i saw it out of the corner of my eye. two little puctures on his neck. i gasped.
"w-what happened to your neck?" i stutered, as the memories from last night replayed in my mind.
he laughed quietly. "so you noticed, Kira."
"who are you?" i asked as i narrowed my eyes.
"my name is Ha-" the bell cut him off.
i pulled out a piece of paper from my journal and began to write.
tell me who you are during your free period
i passed it to him.
"good morning class!" said Professer Tomo.
"good morning mr.Tomo," the class muttered.
the paper landed in front of me. i opened it and it read:
next 2 hours ill tell you whatever you want
-Haji
Haji, i thought. nice name.
as class flew by all i could think about was the dark-eyed boy sitting next to me. what does he want? i kept asking myself. maybe he's another assasin. dammit! looks like Minoko has found me. i wonder what happened to Vincent. oh well. i can handle this guy
the bell rang, ending my mental babble and signaling the end of first hour. i grabbed my stuff and walk out of the room.
i walked until i got to the willow. i dropped my bag and jumped on a branch, facing away from him.
"what do you want?" i demanded. "did Minoko send you?"
he laughed slightly. "no."
"how do you know my name and what i am?" i asked turning to face him.
"i know almost everything about you, Kiki," he said.
maybe he can tell me what happened, i thought
then a vision of a woman's face flashed through my mind. she had long black hair and liquid topaz eyes. she was wearing a dark green summoners kimono. the sweetest smile was spread accross her pale face. "Kiki....." she said, her voice fading.
"everything?" i asked, snapping back into reality.
"help me up and i can tell you whatever you want," he said, walking twords the willow. he held out his non bandaged hand. i took it and pulled him up. "find a branch and take a seat," i said, bracing myself for what im about to hear.
