Prolouge
just a few more yards, i thought. i kept running, taking deep breaths with tears streaming down my face. i was running twords the ones i missed but never knew. 30 seconds later i was right behind them. i bent forwards trying to catch my breath. i looked up and smiled.
they turned around and my smile faded. black masks covered thier faces.
"let me see your faces," i begged, tears still spilling down my face.
"please!" i yelled. they shattered like crystal and i sat up. sweat was rolling down my face and i was gasping for air.
