When the world turns its back upon the wamth of the life giving sun. Night, mysterious and clam. I sit in the night's lonely darkness, overwhelmed with memories of nightmares in past sleepless dreams. A sigh escapes my moist, dry lips as I now lay in the abssence of light. Cold and numb, I am, as Winter's early chill entangles me in its unforgiving grasp. My eyes force shut, fleeing the outer world to my inner world. There, I too have turned my back upon the greater good and lay motionless in my own dark hatred. Not even the shadows that lurk within me dare spred their faint bodies in the elipse of my soul. Still I lay, shivering from lack of my better will. Silence echos from deep within my human shell. With eyes drawn tightly shut, there is no escape from haunting images, playing events of the soul's tortured fears. Nightmares of a earth once safe. My face twisting with emotions of a forgotten soul. hungry for the love of the giving sun. Time stops then suddenly rushes forward, I jerk up into a sitting position. Trembling in a cold sweat, I watch. I watch as the sun fights to turn the world back towards its warmth and love of life. Though, the gentle care passes through me and I vanish back to the realm of restlessness. Back to the mysterious, calm night.
