All I really need...
No shoes,
just me and my swimming suit,
a refreshing drink, the calming
sounds of waves crashing up on the sand,
smacking into rocks, and
waking me up to a sunny, cloudless day,
all I need...
The tropical islands.
The Refreshing sounds.
The smell of salt occuping my senses,
and rejuvinating my soul.
All I really need to feel is
the sand between my toes,
and the smell of salt
and the sense of freedom
to be within me.
All I really need are the islands...
All I really need is a big
smile and a big
group of happy friends,
a lone beach chair,
a notepad, a pencil...
A creative imagination that grows
with anticipiation every waking hour of every
day.
Crashing into me, with the beautiful smells...
All I need, All I really
truely, honestly
need are the islands
and the islands away from here,
where I can wake up late in the afternoon,
crawl out of bed, throw on
a bathing suit, grab my lone
beach chair, and run out on the beach, and smell the salt--
All I really need-
maybe just a dream,
maybe just as a kid-a dream...
But all I want--
The beach.
A smile.
The tropical islands.
My imagination...
My notepad and my pencil...
All I really need...
The smell of salt.
The musky air...
The beautiful, flawless skies...
Who needs dozens of millions of billions dollars
to be happy? I just want
the sand between my toes,
the water in my face,
and my writing open for all to see....
All I really need...
Just a dream?
Just a goal?
Who cares...
It's all I
dream of....
