Inside of Advent's head, right after she's been shot and left for dead by Yazuu
Blood, more of it keeps gushing out of my shoulder, it soaks my hair and turns it from silver to rusty. My eyes are still widened in shock from the impact. So this is it? The end, my life's to end at age fourteen? Where are my brothers? Why didn't they protect me? Because one of them shot me, that's why...and the other two just stood there and watched. As I close my eyes, I begin to submit to death, there's nothing I can do to save myself...but then my eyes snap back open, no, I tell myself weakly, I won't submit to death, I'm stronger than them, I'll live...I turn over onto my stomach and drag myself to a nearby object. My vision is acting up again, everything is blurred. I lift myself up using it as support, then I come to my senses, there was only one brother watching her die...the other was dead. I shake my head, getting my eyes back in focus, then I remember, this sword is Masamune...at first i don't remember, but I'm sure I'll remember once the pain dies down. I never thougth being shot would hurt so much, I couldn't care less who shot me, but, I'm only fourteen, and I didn't do anything to prevoke him into doing that, trying to kill me then leaving me to bleed to death. A figure approaches me...no...two...Paine and Battle...poor Battle is missing an eye now, Paine has Kadaj's sword. I stand up straight as the other children who had been introduced with the One-Winged One's DNA approach, the stand nervous and unsure of what to do, looking at me, they expect me to lead them. I was their leader earlier, but that was before I'd been shot.
"Are you alright?" Paine asks me, I look at her, scarlet streams running down my face from my hair. I reek of blood. Then it all comes back to me. I was standing facing all of the kids, they were cheering for me, though most were older, they still looked up to me. My hair blew in the wind, I stood up tall and held my head high, a whip is wrapped around my waist, a scemitar in each of my hands,
"My brothers and sister," I call out, "Long have we lived on the streets, cold, alone, hungry, and even some of us sick...but now we will take no more, all our lives we've been looked down upon, spat on and disgraced by those who have homes, but we'll have a home soon, we'll be a powerful army strong, fast, and quick thinking, here we will build a home for ourselves..." They cheered for me, it wasn't much of a speech, but it gave them hope. Later, my friend, a wraith called Battle had one of his eyes torn out in a fight with a dog who already had one eye, his crimson pelt made my Battle's gray, white, black, and silver pelt disappear as he tore savagly into the wraith. I couldn't help him though, I found myself in a dark and quiet place, where I found two of my brothers,
"Yazuu what are you doing?" I asked, he merely looked at me then shot me, earlier I had said they would lead us, but now I had second thoughts,
"Advent, will your brothers still lead us?" Battle asked opening his muzzle but not moving his mouth when he spoke,
"No..." I replied, "They will not, and if I ever see them again, I'll make them prisoners and make them go through so much pain they'll beg me to kill them..."
"Your brothers did this to you?" Paine said with shock examining the wound in my shoulder, I nodded,
"Then I shall taste their blood if they ever cross my path, I'll rip their throats out." Battle growled, his litter mated, Sunflash and Ember nodded,they were younger but eager.
Battle, always faithful and willing to protect me. But really, If Yazuu and Loz ever cross my path again, they won't get away with out a few scars to remember me by. And Battle too...
