First off, this is awesome. Marvel at it, and wish it was yours.
Second, grades. I finally know what they are, so I'll share along with stories.
2nd: English 3 Honors - 72% C- ::: Bit of a story behind this one. My teacher is unorganized, so much that my room seems clean when put next to her. When I first got my grade, it came to no surprise of mine that I failed with a 39%. I'm homework's natural enemy. So anyways, a few days later we checked our grades again. I found out that I had a 64% D. I was happy, not only for the improvement, but for the fact I was passing. Then I went back today and found out I now have the C-. Think about this.
I went from a 39% to a 72%. In a matter of days! She's crap at teaching, but I'd rather her than some teacher I'd actually have to work for.
3rd: Accounting - 97% A/A+::: Nothing special here. I like my teacher, she's cool.
4th: Pre-Calc. - 53% F::: Well, I messed up. Though it's still feasable to pass since only two tests have occured and another is on it's way.
5: P.E. - A::: Meh, always an A, never complaining.
6: Biology - 85% B::: I had Chemistry last year, which is actually a step up on the "classes by experience/year" ladder, but since this is a required class for graduation, here I am. My teacher suggested I actually switch to Bio. AP (Advance Placement, basically an Honors of Honors and it gets you college credit), but I knew I'd do poorly if not fail, so I kindly thanked her for the offer. I know myself well enough now to know what I will and won't do.
7th: U.S. History - A::: Ah, good 'ol history. Haven't taken this since my Freshman year, so I'm a bit rusty at it, but meh. Chaos happened.
The first three weeks were cool. I had, literally, the most awesome teacher at school. He was voted Teacher of the Year by the students last year, so he's that good. Anyway, three weeks along the school was informed some students would get schedule changes due to the unplanned overpopulation of the school. I was switched...
...with the most pathetic teacher. I kid you not, he was depressing to look at! You can be as happy as Disneyland allows before you're kicked out for supposed drug usage, and go in there and be like, "Oh, I want to kill myself now." He quit not even a week after I had him, with grades still un-compiled together.
For the next week and three days we had subs, doing notes and such. Then we actually got the new teacher. For all the chaos that happened, if we basically did work, we got A's, and that those assignments would not count on our grades. He's cool. He's read a book series I'm reading, so he's super cool.
So yeah, hopefully with all the good new, it will out balance the bad and I'll be less punished if not completely free. smile
