Yo! Yet another night with barely any sleep on my part. In addition to that I was dragged out of bed earlier than usual by my sister for a training session. She needed the training and I could always use a quick spar. Plus the fact that I was curious just how much the Bandogan would effect the fight against one of my own family, let alone a ninja other than Itachi.
The Bandogan made it simple to read my opponents moves along with my accuracy and precision with kunai and other weapons as well. My sister was no match for me with the Bandogan at my disposal. Normally she would at least pose a challenge. This was almost too easy. With about 5 wolves in addition to her though it was still a good warm up for me. I had to stretch my joints anyways.
Afterwards I explained my story about my father to her and all that had happened as we went back to the house to get Tizona and Zirith so we could meet with the Hokage about the tragedy. When we got there it seemed that they had thought i was at breakfast the whole time. After we all ate and got ready we set off to meet with the Hokage.
On the way there Miyuki tagged along with our little caravan that we had going. Tizona, Zirith, Miyuki, my sister, Shunomaru and myself were all ready to present the details of what we knew had happened. Tizona, Zirith and myself to give the exact information and Miyuki and my sister to volunteer to help rebuild the village. As soon as we arrived, the Hokage gladly granted us an audience with him immediately. The three of us explained all the details as to what had happened to us and what we all found when we stood before the village. The Hokage was shocked to hear of such horror. He was stunned that the Shadow Village had fallen not long after the Uchihas were wiped out. With our volunteer workers, I also mentioned that Zerostsu was to be released from the hospital and would be journeying with us to rebuild the village and our clan. Yet again another shocker for the Hokage to hear of my second heritage. The three of us were all that was left of the Hatazaki bloodline and the Hokage agreed to lend us any help we required along with some extra guards for the village while we fix everything that was destroyed. I made everyone swear to keep Zerostsu's survival top secret and all files after the date of the massacre be destroyed so Itachi won't come after him... at least until we were all prepared.
The Hokage agreed that it would be for the best and sent an order to the hospital to do so. He also sent out an order to some of his more skilled Anbu squads to help defend the village as it is rebuilt and to recon the surrounding areas before we arrive to ensure the safety of the last Hatazaki and the building crew and volunteers. We accepted his gratitude with the upmost respect and were all told that the departure with the construction crew and the Anbu would begin in about 4 days. Once all the details on both sides were covered the meeting was adjourned. As everybody left the Hokage stopped me and granted me a high praise for my bravery to fight Itachi, despite the fact the it was a shadow clone. He also granted me something that left me speechless, the rank of Special Jounin . This meant I could train anybody I wished and take them under my wing for one on one or major group teachings. He also granted Zerostsu that same title due to him fighting the true Itachi. I was overwhelmed with gratitude as I thanked him and left the room with my new title.
I didn't speak the whole walk back. I just had to tell somebody though. I slipped away from the group alone and made my way to the hospital. Shunomaru was with Miyuki as they continued walking. I ran past the front desk of the hospital and straight to Zerostsu's room. Jolting in I nearly tripped over my own two feet.
Zerostsu was frightened at my sudden appearance. Bursting with excitement I told him everything that happened. At the news that we were now ranked above even our sensei had been before she had been killed, Zerostsu couldn't believe it. He sat there without even blinking, staring at the me in a complete daze. I stood next to him as we were both completely amazed at the honor we had been given from the Hokage himself. Then I caught the scents of a couple people outside the door. Well, both were animals in a sense. I had been so excited I never checked to see if I was followed.
Miyuki and Shunomaru walked in both unmoving and smiling. I take it they overheard through all the excitement. Miyuki congratulated us both and gave us each a hug. Shunomaru pounced on me then, after much licking of my face as a congrats, did the same to Zerostsu. Zerostsu was let out of the hospital that day under the Hokage's orders and his files after the date of the massacre were destroyed just as promised. I was given some medical supplies in case the wound happened to reopen. I have always been a taijutsu primary but I always knew the healing jutsu's I learned from our sensei would come in handy, along with my natural survival skills that is. I know what plants to search for to make certain medicines and can heal wounds when needed but only minor wounds. Zerostsu and Miyuki knew this and were always thankful to know I would do everything in my power to save them if they were injured.
We all went to my house to hang for the rest of the day. Once it hit 10 o'clock Miyuki had went home after an exciting day like this. She needed some rest especially after trying to keep up with the rest of us. Zerostsu, Tizona, Zirith, Shunomaru and myself need to make some space for everybody to sleep without being stuck up against one another. We rearranged my entire room so there was space for us all. By the time we were finished it was 11:30 pm. After chatting a bit and playing a few games we all decided to try to sleep. Tizona and Zirith could sleep soundly knowing that the village will not have died in vain. As for Zerostsu and I, well we just couldn't believe that we were promoted to such a high rank without even leading a squad before. Then again Zerostsu and I work together on everything so it should be easy. With my leadership and his support it shouldn't be too hard right?
Well let's just hope that Tizona and Zirith don't get too anxious and rush ahead to the village to begin working on it. I guess the Anbu would be with them so they would be alright anyways but my sister would probably stop them before they even made it past the door to my room.

Whatever. Time to try and get some z's.
