Okay, so I want to know, how do you get rid of an annoying boy who keeps freakin' hitting on you over the internet? I mean, politely?
I swear, two nights in a row of this dude talking to me over Facebook, and I'm really starting to lose my hard-earned patience. He graduated from my school last year, and we have some mutual friends, but I never even said one word to him till he started talking to me on Facebook, and I really wish we'd kept it that way.
Hmm...that sounds mean, but so true.
Anyway, basically, he started talking to me, and I was okay with it until he started going on and on about how he'd just broken up with his girlfriend, and I was like 'oh, jeez, I know where this is going.'
He asked me out.
Over the internet.
Without ever having actually had a conversation with me until that point.
Hello? Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this picture?
I turned him down. I mean, sure, a part of me may have felt some guilt for being totally blunt about it (the part that wants to adopt all the dogs from the pound), but mostly I was just irritated. And he didn't get it the first time I said 'no'. I hate when guys do that! Hate it!!
Long story short, I've been trying to avoid conversation, but he keeps on getting online and talking to me, and I can tell he still likes me, EVEN THOUGH HE FREAKING DOESN'T EVEN KNOW ME. He invited me over to his house, and he's been telling me all about how great it is, and his iPod.
It's driving me up the wall. What, do I need like, virtual pepper spray to make this guy understand that I don't like him? At all? Seems like it, 'cause he's totally oblivious to the fact that I'm not actually interested in his house or his iPod or any of the stuff he's been trying to use as bait.
Is my ranting making sense here? Can somebody sympathize with me please, before I completely lose my mind?
