Riku: See? I was right! She is in the story!
Michaela: Listen to your heart when he’s calling for you!
Sora: .... What?
Axel: Yeah, those of you with hearts to listen to... *scowl*
Michaela moaned as the scenery around her came into focus. She thought she was dreaming, then she felt the pain in her arm and she knew it was real. She looked down at her arm and didn’t find a pretty sight. Her arm was bloody and it was still bleeding.
Sora: My brain was hurt and it was still hurting.
Kairi: Would you like to submit that to the Department of Redunancy Department if you'd like?
She struggled to her feet and was dizzy from the loss of blood. She looked down and saw that instead of wearing what she had on before, a black baggy shirt and a pair of way to big overalls, she was wearing a white, sleeveless belly shirt, a black vest, black baggy pants, fingerless black gloves, and black tennis shoes. There were a bunch of chains on her pants also.She felt her hair and saw that it was now silver and in a pony tail, with it down it would probably be elbow length.
Riku: So basically, she looks like the love child of Tifa and Sephiroth.
All: .......
Larxene: Who’s on top in that one?
Sora: Gaah, don’t go there... *tries to beat mental images out of his head*
Suddenly she noticed that her mind was telling her to hold out her hand an try to summon something. She closed her eyes and held out her good arm and tried. She was amazed when something rested in her hand. She opened her eyes and saw what looked like a black Kingdom Key. A voice in her mind told her what it was: Darkblade.
Sora: *facepalm* Wait, let me guess. She's going to take over my multiverse-saving duties, isn't she.
Riku: *fume* Dark weapons... are my thing...
She dismissed the Darkblade and put her hand on her wound because it was still gushing out blood. She looked at her surroundings and found out that she was in an alley. She rounded the corner and thought she would faint. She was in Traverse Town.
“This can’t be good,” she said.
Riku: What, the story?
Sora: The bleeding?
Kairi: Suddenly finding yourself in Traverse Town with a totally new appearance?
Sora: That's it! She was turned into a Heartless already, and this is actually her Nobody!
Riku: *flips ahead in the story* Actually, that would explain a few things...
She went to the accessory shop. She stopped right before she walked in. “Okay, just be cool and don’t freak out. Cid is nice and will probably help me. I hope,” she told herself. She walked in.
Axel: .... HAHAHAHAHA
Sora: I'm sorry, you lost me at "Cid is nice."
“Hey there, how can I... Aw, it's only a kid,” Cid said.
“My name’s not ‘Kid’. It’s Michaela and I really need your help,” Michaela said as she walked over to him.
“Hi Michaela, my name is- Whoa!”
Sora: Nice to meet you, Whoa!
Cid said as he saw the scratch on her arm, blood was now squeezing its way through her fingers. She suddenly felt light-headed and almost fell over.
“That’s what I need your help with,” Michaela explained.
“Come over here,” Cid told her. She walked over to him and he pulled out some bandages. “Let me get a good look at that arm.” He bent down and now Michaela could get a good look at it, there were splinters in it and a nail, a huge, long, sharp nail, plus there was more splinters and blood.
Riku: Wow. Not just a nail, but a huge, long, sharp nail.
Axel: Hope this kid's tetanus shots are up to date.
She winced as he pulled a huge splinter out. The nail was bloody, so were the other splinters. Within five minuets cid had all the splinters out and had it wrapped up.
Sora: Are you sure it was five minuets? Sounds more like it took four minuets, three waltzes, and a two-step.
Kairi: And a partridge in a pear tree!
“As I was saying before, my name is-“ Cid started but then Michaela cut him off. “Cid Highwind. I’ve heard about you.”
“Anyway how’d you get here?”
“I don’t know. The last thing I remember is being sucked into a swirling black sphere then waking up in the alley with this,” she told him summoning the Darkblade.
Cid looked thoughtful,” How old are you?”
“Twelve. Why?” Michaela asked.
Axel: *as Cid* Curses! Jailbait!
“Well your older than the last one but younger than Sora,” Cid told her.
“What did the last one look like? Sora’s been here?” Michaela asked franticly.
“The last one was a boy, he had blonde hair, was wearing gold baggy pants that poofed out at the bottom, a loose no-sleeved shirt, gold shoes, and gold fingerless gloves like yours. He said his name was Tyler. What was weird was he knew who I was and who Sora is,” Cid told her.
Sora: No. What's weird is that you, a guy, remembered Tyler's outfit in that amount of detail.
Axel: *as Cid* Well, he was blond, and he was wearin' yellow, I think. Or maybe it was green?
Riku: *as Cid* An' his name was Tyson. Or maybe Tiger? Tie-Dye?
“I gotta go,” She told him and walked over to the door.
“Well, good luck with whatever it is you're doing. If you ever run into trouble, you come to me. I'll look out for you,” Cid told her.
Riku: What is this, ***** or something?
“Okay, I’ll do that,” Michaela told him.
“Be careful Michaela. There are lots of people who will do anything to get their hands on that,” Cid told her nodding to the Darkblade. “I will,” Michaela told him solemnly.
Riku: Was it really the Darkblade he's talking about, though?
Sora: Are you done?
Riku: Only if ***** is.
Michaela walked out of the accessory shop. Suddenly a group of Shadows came. She attacked the closest one and was barely surprised when she killed it with one quick swipe. She killed the Shadows in a matter of seconds. “Well, that was easy,” Michaela told her self. Suddenly a man with brown hair appeared. “They’ll keep coming after you no matter what. As long as you wield the Darkblade,” He said.
Sora: Hey, that's kind of like exactly what he said to me! You know, in canon!
Axel: BOO direct quotation... Hooray, BEER!
“I know, but I can’t get rid of it,” Michaela said glumly.
“My name's Leon,” Leon told her.
“I’m Michaela. Hey, have you seen the Keybearer?” She asked him.
“I just ran into him and the Lightbearer,” Leon told her.
“Can you take me to him?” She asked.
“Of course! After all, it is the Darkbearer’s job to help protect the Keybearer,” Leon told her.
Sora: ... What?! I don't need a protector. I already told Auron that.
Kairi: Keep in mind, the suethor hasn't played KHII.
Riku: Not that the story would change much if she had.
Leon takes Michaela to the hotel, where she meets up with Tyler, who wields (surprise surprise) a Lightblade! Oh, and Sora's there too, still recovering from a recent fight with Leon.
As they were arguing about who’s blade was cooler, they didn’t notice Sora start to wake up.
Sora: Oh, thanks. It's not like I'm the main character or anything.
There was a moan and both Tyler and Michaela stopped arguing and looked over at Sora. “Tyler, where are we and who is she?” Sora asked Tyler. “You never told him about me! How rude!” Michaela pouted. “Well one, you weren’t there, and two, I forgot because I was amazed because Sora was right next to me!” Tyler cried.
Riku: *as Tyler* And three, I assumed you died when the wind blew up!
He turned to Sora. “Sora this is Michaela,” Tyler explained.
“I’m the Darkbearer,” Michaela told him. “The Darkbearer?” Sora asked confused. “I don’t know. From what Leon told me, I’m supposed to help protect you,” Michaela told him.
Sora: *waves Keyblade around* Hellooooo! Do you remember this? I do not need a protector!
The Darkbearer and Lightbearer are very important because they help protect the Keybearer,” Leon told the three of them. “Help?” Michaela asked confused.
Leon sighed. “There are fifteen special blades, the Darkblade, the Lightblade, the Fireblade, the Iceblade, the Thunderblade, the Lifeblade, the Ghostblade, the Roseblade, the Earthblade, the Snowblade, the Loveblade, the Windblade, the Shadowblade, Riverblade, and the Starblade. Whoever wields them must protect the Keybearer.
There are three other weapons who must help, The Daggers of Peace, the Gunblade of Hope, and the Blade of Justice.”
All: ........
Sora: Okay, and I definitely do not need EIGHTEEN protectors.
Kairi: How is the Darkblade different from the Shadowblade? How is the Iceblade different from the Snowblade?
Riku: I can't help but wonder what the Loveblade does.
Axel: "Hey baby. Do you wanna wield my Loveblade?"
Larxene: *fries him*
Michaela nodded. “I see… I’m going for a walk.” “I’ll come too,” Tyler said. “Don’t leave without me!” Sora called. Michaela waited for them to catch up. They walked out on the balcony. Tyler suddenly looked over at Michaela and leaped at her. They rolled off the balcony and on to the Alleyway floor. Sora leaped after them and was about to break them apart when she
Sora: You mean HE, of course.
Riku: Of course.
heard that they were laughing. He looked at them confused. In a matter of seconds Michaela had Tyler pinned. There was laughter in her eyes as she said, ”Pinned ya!”
Axel: Wait. Is she pretending to be Nala, or are they gonna have sex, or what?
Riku: Are you kidding? They haven't even hit puberty yet.
“Hey, let me up!” Tyler whined. Michaela smiled. “Tag, You’re it!” Michaela yelled as she tapped Tyler. “Run Sora!” Sora ran passed Tyler and after Michaela. He was having a hard time keeping up with her and she never seemed to get tired. He followed her through the Gizmo Shop and up the ladder.
Sora: They should have been attacked by... *counts on his fingers* ...at least 60 or 70 Heartless on the way there.
Riku: If the game had any foothold here at all.
Michaela stopped at the edge and looked at the view. She was lost in awe until she heard Sora give her a warning. She turned around just in time for Tyler to push her hard enough to fall off the edge. She screamed as she fell.
Kairi: Isn't Tyler supposed to be her friend?
Sora: He is! He subscribes to the Riku school of friendship, so pushing her to her death from a tall tower is just his way of showing he cares.
Riku: *GLARE*
Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her back and felt something grow. She used a mussel she never knew she had.
Axel: Then, having finished her unexpected seafood lunch, she started using her muscles.
She stopped in mid-air. She saw Tyler jump off the edge and wince as golden dragon wings grew out of his back. He flew over to her.
“How’d we do that?” Tyler asked her.
Sora: DURRR.... WITH WINGS.
“I have no clue,” Michaela replied. They looked up at Sora just in time to see him jump off the edge too. He crashed to the ground. Tyler and Michaela burst out laughing. Michaela herd someone’s laughter that wasn’t Tyler’s. She flew down to the ground as best as she could. She looked into the shadows and gasped.
Sora: It was ... a hyena!
Riku: A poisonous snake!
Larxene: Sephiroth!
Axel: A bucket of mussels!
“R…Ry…Ryan? Is that you?” Michaela stuttered. “The one and only!” Ryan replied. Michaela hugged him. “Nothing personal about that. It’s just that we found you!” she exclaimed. Suddenly she noticed that he had light blue dragon wings and had light blue shorts, one pant leg was longer than the other, a light blue sleeveless shirt, light blue shoes on, and light blue fingerless gloves.
“How long have you had those?” Michaela asked nodding at the wings.
Sora: *as Ryan* Only since I was turned into a Heartless!
Kairi: They're not Nobodies, Sora. The author doesn't even know what a Nobody is.
Sora: LIES!
“I woke up with them, and this,” Ryan replied summoning what looked like a Kingdom Key made of ice. “Can I see that real quick?” She asked. He nodded and handed it to her. She studied it and after a few moments she handed it back to Ryan.
Riku: If it's based on the Keyblade, shouldn't it hand itself back?
Axel: They just don't make Keyblades like they used to...
“You must be the Icebearer,” Michaela told him. “Um Michaela, who is he?” Sora asked coming up to them. “This is Ryan. Ryan, this is Sora,” Michaela told them.
Tyler walked up to her. “So you found Ryan?” Tyler asked. Michaela nodded. “Now all we have to do is find the others and find a way to get home, right?” Michaela asked. Suddenly a huge Heartless came up out of the ground. “That and a few obstacles,” Tyler said. “Ya. I think you’re right,” Michaela said. They now got a good look at it. She realized that it looked just like Kurt Zia.
Axel: .... Who??
Sora: It's the secret boss from Agrabah.
Axel: Why didn't she just say that, then? And what’s it doing in Traverse Town??
Sora: Confusing people makes her feel special.
“Have you beat Kurt Zia yet?” Michaela asked. “Nope,” Tyler replied. “That makes things more difficult,” Michaela muttered then to Tyler she added,” Okay just use magic when it shields it’s self. Right now all you need to do is attack the purple blob things it has in its hands.”
“What magic do we have?” Tyler asked her.
Sora: Against this boss, what does it matter?
“Well…I don’t know. Lets just try to find out without being killed,” Michaela replied. Suddenly, Kurt Zia leaped at them. The battle was on!
