Lack Thereof: Um… yeah we do get the concept of sarcasm, at least Chaos does, she pretty much grew up hearing it all the time. She was just kidding around…. And we do know what butchering meant, but we were just saying that Chaos could have done a lot worse to him in this.
Chaos: And I resent the comment about my character being a Mary-sue!
All: *dead from laughter*
Axel: *wipes tears from eyes* Oh man, at the end of the day, this makes it all worth it...
There's more stupid debate between whatever characters are involved in this, so let's all wave flags. Actual chapter begins with Riku and Chaos meeting up with Sora and Kairi at the mall. They decide to split up, and Riku goes shopping with Kairi while Sora is challenged by Chaos to a game or fifty of Sonic.
Meanwhile…
Riku: BACK AT THE RANCH...
“So Kairi…” Riku said looking at the red head. She smiled at him, knowing what he was going to ask. “”What should I get Chaos?”
Riku: Hold up--why'm I buying her a gift?
Kairi: She's the Sue. Obviously.
Axel: *as Chaos* RIKU RIKU RIKU I WANT A PONY
“Well, what about jewelry?” Kairi asked. Riku shook his head.
“She’s allergic to necklaces and bracelets that aren’t pure gold or silver.” Riku explained, he asked Chaos about it that morning.
Axel: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sora: So, what? Her Sue allergies prevent her from wearing anything EXTRA-SPESHUL?
Riku: What a t**t.
“She says she doesn’t want me to get her anything, but I want to.”
“You’re kinda pathetic.” Kairi laughed, he gave her a slight glare.
Riku: Gee, thanks for pointing out the obvious, Kairi.
Kairi: Hey, that's not the real me, either. *gives encouraging pat*
They walked into a book store, Kairi was looking for a gift for her mother.
“I know she likes books. I hang out with her too Riku, she always talks about a book she’s read.” Kairi said, taking a book about history and flipping through it. “She likes fantasy stories.”
Sora: I thought she liked Austen.
“Yeah, but how do I know what she hasn’t read?” Riku asked. He grabbed a book titled ‘Master Thief’ Kairi took the book from his hands shaking her head.
“Tell me what she told you.” Kairi said putting both books away.
“She said the only gift she wanted was to be with me.” Riku sighed.
Axel: Oh how sweet.
Sora: *fumes, grips the seat*
Riku: Uh...are you okay?
Sora: That's MY canon! CANON! And she has to go around and PERVERT IT! *steam pours from his ears*
Axel: *eyebrows raise* Heh, this world isn't so bad after all!
He had no idea what to do. “But I can be with her anytime.”
“I get it.” Kairi said, bopping him on the head. “She’s saying she’s happy with just you being there, not just on Christmas, but always.”
“What?” Riku said, Kairi was purchasing a book about artwork. They left the store and continued walking.
Axel: I agree. What?
Kairi: Christmas gifts, I see now! Coulda explained it better.
Sora: Why are we buying gifts? Santa Claus delivers Christmas presents!
Riku: Sora--Santa Claus isn't real.
Sora: Yes he is! I met him!
Riku: O RLY.
“Well, she just wants to be with you Riku. She DOES love you, right?” Kairi looked at him questioningly. He nodded. “Then no worries, she doesn’t want you to worry so much.”
Sora: I refuse to have "Hakuna Matata" apply here.
“But-” Kairi cut Riku off by pressing a finger to his lips.
“Get her whatever you want, she’ll be happy either way.” Kairi started walking again, he followed.
“Alright…” He sighed, they approached the clock tower, it was an hour before 12:00 but he noticed Sora and Chaos walking by. Sora was carrying a bunch of bags and Chaos looked triumphant. “What the?”
Axel: DEUCE?!
Riku: Couldn't resist, huh?
Axel: Of course not!
“Ultimate!” Chaos turned to look at Sora behind her, who was bowing his head in shame. In the corner of her eye she caught sight of Riku. “Sora, lookit!”
“What’s going on?” Kairi asked as they got closer. There was a piece of paper in Chaos’ hand that said ‘Ultimate winner!’ and a sign on Sora’s back that said ‘Ultimate loser…’.
Axel: Oh dear lord, you people are so embarrassing. *puts on Groucho Marx glasses*
Sora: *snorts at glasses* And those aren't?
Axel: Who? You must be mistaking me for someone else.
As it turns out, Sora lost 144 games of Sonic against the Sue, BECAUSE SHE IS PERFECT YOU FOOLS. Somehow the Sue's bruises and cuts get brought up again? Riku is resolved to discover TEH TRUTH about them.
