Best Friend

A best friend isn't the one you come home
and call
and tell
your whole day to
it's the one who lived through it all with you.

take a chance 'cause you'll never know how absolutely perfect
something can turn out to be.
Don't be afraid of death,
be afraid of the unlived life.
Sometimes, you just have to jump off a bridge
and hope you'll learn to fly on the way down.

I want someone who's afraid to lose me.
just as much as I'm afraid to lose them.
for once in my life,
I want to feel like i belong.
like I can be myself around that one person.
and then, nothing else matters.

So break the rules,
sneak out and stay late.
be a rebel and never get caught.
because life's too short to act good.

It's kind of amazing how one person can make your worst day absolutely perfect

If someone breaks your heart,
just punch them in the face.
Oh sure, it seems obvious now,
but you'd be amazed at how many people don't think of it when it's relevant.
Seriously, just punch them in the face
and go get some ice cream.

a boy and a girl can be friends, but at one point or another, they will fall for each other, maybe temporarily, maybe at the wrong time, maybe too late, or maybe forever

Ever have one of those days where you hate the world
& anything that happens
even dropping your pen
makes you wanna break down & cry

the biggest mistake you can make
is to drift apart from someone,
who you once had the time of your life with
