Best Friends

Isn't every girl's dream the same?
To have a boy who calls at three in the morning,
pours his heart out to you
without a single hesitation or second thought.

That was so much like him,
just to come over here on a totally random night
and after barely speaking to me for months and months,
just pick up where he left off
completely messing with my mind.

What hurts more?
Thinking you should hate him?
Or knowing that you don't?

Because you're the kind of guy who'd laugh at me when i fall

he's the first kid that has ever made me this confused about anything.

most best friends
they would take the icky purple icy
and give you their yummy green icy
but my best friend just says **** you eat the damn thing

we laugh until we cry into each others shoulders.
We make idiots out of ourselves in movie theaters.
We throw food at each other.
We track dirt over each others floors.
We go running barefoot in the pouring rain.
We b***h at each other all the time
but thats okay this is what best friends are about.

yeah everybody has heard that ''people change''
but true friends are hard to come by
& my girls will have me rolling on the floor
laughing 10 seconds after they've seen the frown on my face.

When we leave high school,
everyone thinks they will get separated from their best friends.
But if they truly are your best friends,
nothing can make you separate.
Nothing can make you forget.

your best friend wouldn't ask questions
when you tell them
"we HAVE to kill the guy who broke my heart”
they would be running to get the shovel.

Some friends will ask you why your crying
but best friends will know exactly why
and then go kick his a**!

You don’t go to high school to find your husband.
You go to find your bridesmaids

a real friend is someone who tries to pick you up when you’ve fallen.
and if they can't pick you up
then they lay down right beside you.

a real friend
is someone who could be crying her eyes out,
& she'd still ask you how you are.

your best friend listens to you when you don't make sense
stands by you when people call you things
argues when your not at all right
trusts you when she knows you'll mess up
when you cry shes with you helping you
& thats how i know
shes truly my best friend

a good friend will comfort you when he rejects you,
but a true fried will go up to him, and say.
"It's cause you're gay, isn't it?!"

We’re all a little weird,
and when we find those people
whose weirdness is compatible with ours,
we join up with them,
and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness
and call them our best friends.
