I hate nazis, there's really nothing to like about them. They killed people for stupid reasons, thought total conformism to one way of life was the way to go, and because they're really as far as you can be from a good person without coming back from the dead to eat human flesh.
Why am I talking about a group that pretty much dies in WWII? They're taking over the country. (America, to be clear, don't worry if you're not in it, your leaders might just let you know on a daily basis that you're without liberty, so it probobly wouldn't be much change anyway)
School started this week, and I couldn't help but notice what was being said. Students were required to see a presentation, part of which was 17 people saying the exact same thing, which to me seemed like a brain-washing video. The principle, head nazi of the area, I suppose, asked new students to stand and say a pledge, "I'll do as I am told" is basicly the jist of it. At one point, I think she made a joke, perhaps a test, saying
"I (her name)..."
Probobly expecting them to use their own name, to my dismay, many also said her name... F@^&ing stupid bastards.
As if the neon sign that read "we're morons" didn't weaken my faith in humanity enough, there was also a list of rules we were read, only one of which, "Be honest", I agreed with, the rest seemed like "do as you are told, don't ask why. More on that later.
In this school, they announced that millions were spent on the gym and football field, physical activity-related things. That may not seem strange by itself, but what part of this does? Put together, it adds up to
-Dumb students that are apparently wiling to obey without question
-emphasis on physical activity
-not much talk of thinking for oneself
-brainwashing video
Does something seem wrong at this point?
There's also required classes, which is understandable, people need to learn somthing before releasing them to the world, one of these classes is "physical education", only required once even though what is learned is how to play silly games and exercise...and follow orders. If you do or have ever had a gym class, think; how does it go?
"go here, do this, now go over there and do that, run in circles"
Seems like if they really wanted to keep us healthy, gym woould be every year, but it's only needed once. Why? Think, what classes do you have that are the exact same thing as last year? Only gym is "go here, do this" every year, math, science, geography, it's never the same material as last time, they have you study something else, something you may not use. I'll rant on school systems later.
Furthermore, The school handbook says "we encourage athletic activity", not extracurricular activity, athletic activity. Let us review.
The school emphasizes physical activity, there are plenty of dumbasses to give orders to, conformism is law, they frequently give lines not so far from "do as you're told, don't ask why, because we sure as hell won't tell you."
I think my school is a facility for raising soldiers, there's the JROTC program, military run, that gives expert lessons on how to be a mindless trooper.
More on the country, remember america's "freedom of speech, press, religion", ect? People get sued for religious displays and what they print, you can't say much of anything unusually without some coward that can't take a joke calling the police in tears asking to get rid of the "bad man and his tainted words". The price of freedom is safety, without their extreme conformism security blanket, people are terrified, ask the law to get rid of the things they don't know, and the country becomes full of nazi bastards that would have thier shadow arrested because they don't think it should look quite like it does.
One man eating at a subway once called the police because they person who made his food forgot the sauce.
Stupid enough, you say? He called again a few minutes later becuase they weren't getting there fast enough. To me, that's almost as bad as the pledge idocy.
BOTTOM LINE: Out of cowardice, people are turning america into a haven for spineless nazis, something must be done.
That's this week's rant, I'm Varmeip, Goodnight.
Also: Monday marks a year since I started these rants, and I'll do a special one then, perhaps my last, seeing as how I've only stuck to gaia waiting for the mmo, which is already looking rigged in favor of those who pay for advantages. Still, I hear it'll be coming out next week, and I will give it a try.
Stay tuned...
