when customizationg your character you immediatly choose gender, ethenticity, height, and weight.

cop: starts with a mk23, police baton, hand cuffs
con: no finishers, negitives in medical training
fireman: excellent melee, damage resistance
con: virus spreads 2x faster
medic: excellent medical training, med kit
con: poor melee combat
civil services: start with hammer, wrench, or garden trimmers
con: less charisma, less speed
phyciatrist: doesn't need a mental flaw, anyone near by remains stable

inventor: instant acess to trap and vehicle editor
con: stress inceases twice as fast
citizen: none
hunter: good marksman ship, starts with a bolt action rifle
con: stamina depletion x2
mental flaws: no one is perfect!
pyro: starts with two molotovs and a lighter
con: when not around fire, stress increases
unstable: when unstable, become beserk, health and strength double
con: dellusional, all you see are hordes of zombies, some of which, could be players
germaphobe: range weapon skill bonus
con: when weilding a melee weapon, stress increases
bloodlust: being around violence decreases stress
con: not being around violence increases stress
coy: natural stress is 0% not 15%
con: stress increases 2x faster
addict: smoking and drinking releive stress with no side effects
con: not smoking and ect. increases stress to up to 90%
socialite: being around people keeps stress low

iron man: hand to hand combat skill greatly increased, damage resistance

after clothing your character, you will edit his face and hair with a system not far from saint's row face editing
naming:
you will create a numberless, spaceless, first and last name for your character
and even a nik name for others to call you
first name:
your first name can be the same as everyone elses, that is, if you want, the game will notify you if others have the same last name
nick name: (purley optional)
this can consist of numbers, and spaces, this name is what people can call you, if you desire them to
last name:
your last name must be purley origanal, unless you want to end up related!
if your first and last name are the same as an exsisting character's, you must change one of the two
heres an example
Albert "Al" Westwood
or
Albert "Mr. Westwood" Westwood
even, if you want
Albert "the 1st blitzer" Westwood
so this way, you can have multiple people with name Albert, but having different last names allows these characters to be indentifiable, as well as with the nik names.
identifaction:
your name does not magicly float above, or below you, for players to find out who you really are, you have to show them your ID, this is done by going to your PDA and choosing "show I.D.", the player you are targeting will be asked
"A survivor wishes to show you their I.D., proceed? Y/N"
if they choose yes, they will see they an I.D. appear on the bottom right of their screen, showing the given information. players who wish to see someones I.D. simply target a player and select the "see this player's I.D." option on the PDA. The other player will then receive a message saying
"a survivor wishes to see your I.D., proceed? Y/N"
and then the player will choose yes or no.
if you are a changling zombie, and you receive that message, you cannot show them your I.D. because being that close to a person would cause you to attack them, so you will simply receive a message saying
"A survivor is asking to see your i.d., attack? Y/N"
and then you can ambush the survivor, from there you can either grapple him and use him as a hostage, or try to kill him by lunging at him.
NPCs can ask to see your ID, by saying yes, this is how you can get into safe houses and other protected NPC areas.
once you are done entering all your character information, your ID will appear on screen, this is to confirm your information and appearance, from their you will choose your birthlocation (from the fictional cities), that dictates what city you start in, then you may choose from one of over twohundred buildings to start in, then you begin your adventure to survive
