Alright! here are the rules, and some history about the game of zombies!
-the game zombies actually origanated in goucher college, only a few years ago.
-about thirty colleges play the game, according to the most recent update.
-they do have T-shirts!
ok! now that, THAT is over with! on to the rules and how to play!
(this is my version, not the goucher version)
zombies is played with two teams, needless to say, these teams are the humans and the zombies!
the humans win by survivng until all the zombies starve to death and go back into their little zombie graves
the zombies win by devouring the humans!
the game starts off with a number ranging from 1 to 15 depending on how many people enlist for the game! enlistment sheets will be posted on the bulletin boards)the sheet will general ask for a name and email so i can contact you. after the set date on the enlistment sheet is reached i will personally go and collect all the sheets and then add the Emails to my friends list so i can quickly contact them all at a momets notice.
Humans:
the humans are given objectives they have to full fill through the week, every friday, these objectives will consist of either scavenger hunting, holding a position or even hunting for a peice of information given to some random person.
there will be events for each weekend for the humans that survive the week, these events will either be a mission where every human is called together or even a get-together to celebrate surviving
weapons of humans:
humans are permitted to use any of the following as weapons; Nerf guns, socks or other soft and small objects, wiffer dusters, water balloons, home made devices, blankets, or/and paper projectiles.
rules of weapons
nerf gun: this gun stuns a zombie, for how long depends on where the zombie is hit so here is the break down. Hands or Feet: 30scs, arms or legs: 1min, body:3 mins head:5 mins
(zombies are automaticly unfrozen once the humans have all left)
socks or other soft small objects: other objects can either be gloves, a small throw pillow, a stuffed plushie, or a ball of yarn for some examples. these objects act as arm or leg shots, reguardless of where they hit, also, these objects can bounce from zombie to zombie, and if done so, both or all zombies are frozen
wiffer dusters: i say wiffer dusters because these are softer than normal dusters. These are basicly the combat knives of the game. these only act are hand or feet hits when you hit a zombie, just so you have enough time to get away.
(if a zombie touches you right as you get them, you are dead, but the zombie is frozen, unless you are the only human around)
water ballons: ONLY TO BE USED OUTSIDE, these are basicly grenades and act like a body shot if a zombie is hit., please don't aim at the face
home made devices: if you can make a gun that shoots a projectile, guranteed not to hurt someone, you may use it, provivded it is also able to be used in doors and not make a mess. the out time for a zombie is based off the nerf gun
blankets: blankets work as nets, and if it touches a zombie, the zombie must carry it with him as he goes about, this does not freeze the zombie, only dissallows him to tag anyone and turn them to the undead
paper projectiles: if you can make shuriken or even just paper balls you may use these, how ever, these work like socks.(and the other objects in the category)
missions: if you complete the week's mission you are allowed to bring one player from the zombies, this player is decided by the player who finished the mission, if a group finished the mission then the player is decided by popular vote.
but why: most the missions usually involve collecting a various amount of items, the last of the items to be collected has a sample of the cure that can be used on the chosen player to bring them back!
events: events are planned and executed during the weekend, decided by the humans, providing they finish their goal, if they don't zombies get to decide what the event will be!
turning to the dead!!!
if you are tagged by a zombie you are deemed dead and either may travel with the zombies after a period of thirty seconds or you may leave to go get the zombie identification item. either way, once the battle is over you must get this item.
ZOMBIES!: zombies are identified by a band of tape/clothe around the arm or head, this clothe/tape may be of any color or size as long as it is guranteed to not fall off during the game
tagging!: in order to tag someone, you have tp be; not frozen, not have a net on you and must make hand to body contact. once you have tagged someone you have basicly fed for the next forty eight hours.
being tagged: if you are tagged, once tagged you need to either leave the area and go get a zombie identification item, or if you are carrying one, equipt it! from there you can either immediatly terrorize your buddies! or regroup with your zombie bretheren!
the origanal zombie: the first few zombies posses the purest form of the virus, and have the virus most devolped, these zombies can unfreeze other zombies by tagging them, providing they aren't frozen
(i.e.: you are frozen and the first zombie is by you but gets frozen s/he cannot reach over and unfreeze you)
starving and feeding!: once a zombie, you need the nourishment of the sweet human (or zombie) flesh to survive! each tag gives you two more days before you need to tag someone again. one day two without tagging someone your zombie body starts to quench blood! now, for sake of example, lets say a zombie goes the full two days with out tagging anyone and kills over, with their permission you can cannibalize their corpse to give another two days! once you do starve however, you can either leave the game or become a spore
being a spore: once your a spore you can take those nasty zombie banners off, the spore is basicly a player who resumes their daily lives whilst spying on the humans, because the zombies don't receive the human's weekly mission and if the humans fail to succeed in the mission, the zombies get dibs on the weekend event
if you are a spore, you don't have to tell anyone! because your little spores aren't strong enough to infect a human! and in this way you can make small talk with your friends on the surviving side till they spill their beans and you run off with the info!
banned for a reason!
some weapons are obviously not allowed, BB guns, paint ball markers, medicine balls, bowling balls, hand grenades, killer mutant tedi bears, nuclear war heads.
however, not one amognst these is the water gun, the water gun is not allowed because i was hoping for some dry fun! some people have an intolerence for the cold and get sick pretty easy and we don't want that! plus we don't want to make the nice walk ways all slippery for those not playing! so there! thats why we dont use water guns!
where and when?
the zombie game is to be carried out during the week as you do your regular school thing, wether you carry you big guns is really wether or not your teachers allow you to lug a nerf weapon around school so i reccomend socks or gloves in your pockets! The whole game is to desired on campus, but the rules apply even off campus

Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye"[/size:3ce0fdb89a]
