I've moved into my dorms at Angelo State University! Woot! blaugh I finally got internet back too, obviously. ^_^
I'll probably be on a heck of a lot more now, because I don't have to worry about other people using the computer, and because I don't have to worry about my parents kicking me off in the middle of stuff. And since I don't have any classes before 11:30, I can stay up late and sleep in. biggrin Yay!
Ugh it's getting late... Luckily, there's a late Mass here, so even if I "accidentally" sleep in, I'm still all good! ^_^
Anyways though, it's all going pretty good. As soon as I buy a coax-cable, I'll have cable television (Right now my roomie is using the only outlet, but I've bought a splitter). The dorm room is cheap, but I actually like it better then the room I expected to get. ^_^ More deskspace, and more cubbies and such in which to pack stuff. There's not much floorspace, but it's not like I'm expecting to do much, y'know, dualing to the death in here. XD
Speaking of my roomie, he's from Germany. o.O So I guess I'm going to learn all sorts of interesting things... Also, his German friends come over a lot, and for some reason, it feels easier for me when the other people are speaking a foreign language; Probably because then I don't have to worry that I've heard something I shouldn't. XD
Last night and tonight they've gone out partying, over at the on campus apartments. Aparently the no-alcohol rule isn't really enforced, because he said yesterday that he and his one friend had hangovers. ^_^;;
So far, his friends have been extremely polite and nice. Like, the first time one came over, she appologized to me before speaking to him in German. I thought that was pretty cool, you know? I mean, she really didn't need to, it's not like I care. But still...
And another of his friends invited me along next time. XD Who knows, I might go just to see what it is, but not drink, eh? Bring my own hipflask... XD
Speaking of which, I read Harry Potter 4-6 rapid fire. Like, 400 pages a day. o.O I was bugging out at the end of it... I've discovered it's not healthy for me to read a whole lot of a series in a row like that. When I first read the archives of Megatokyo I began feeling very Largo-ish. And now, even though I finish the books almost a week ago, I still feel a little Harry-ish. ^_^ Sadly, no *blanked* for me... <--Blanked for spoiler-ness. ^_^;;
Right after I finished the sixth book though, I felt really sad and just plain horribble because of certain events in the book. I really can't wait for the next one... Partially because then it will all be over, and I can move on to obsessing over the next thing.
Speaking of which, I really am still working on that stuff I promised you Kate... I'll get it to you eventually! ^_^;;
