Confessions of a Crowned Clown
To be honest, I'm probably going to be using this as a place to vent out my thoughts when they get built up enough, and hopefully use it to help me sort through some things.
As Petals Close Upon My Hour
The day did pass beyond our power
For darkness cometh with no form to fight
And the petals close upon the flower

And the light do fade within this hour
Where has the hero gone, where the light
My friends once brave begin to cower

Quest of Gilgamesh, is thought to dour
Eternal life is far from the right
And petals close upon the flower

The bitter taste upon my tongue sour
Chill of the night, give birth to my fright
No place of shelter, nor house or tower

Nor place to hide, from midnight shower
Will anyone here my cries of plight
As petals close upon the flower

On edge of light where dark devour
I see a fearful form come to sight
A reappear out, on midnight scour
As petals close upon the flower
