THis weekend was boring. Most of my weekends are broing. I suppose thats what I get for coaching at 2-4 and working 2-4 on both days the weekend spans and thus really can't do anything exciting. And so life goes on....
Sunday was kinda interesting I guess. I work playing music for a skating club, and for sunday the city has us moving from arena to arena every other week and it is mostly my to set up the boombox and everything. We use the mic thing so we can have the arena speakers mostly because turning the volume up as high as it is needed for all the skaters to hear often becomes distorted. Well, I swear: Ferharson muct be the only arena in London with nail for the conector-thiny (meaning that there isn't holes, but 'nail' pointing out). So yeah, two ends of the same dont normally go together and Carol couldn't get ahold of Paul to send the righ connector so we had to make due. And damn is that boombox heavy!!! I had to get it onto the boards and it was heavy....it gets carried around in a rolling bag. SO yeah, that was fun. And my sister who was on the ice kept snowing me every 1:30min i had to change the song for Skill and Dance.
Oh well.
And then Halloween. I spent a lot of it around here on gaia, though that whole event kinda confused me.
I went to the two houses across the road and tick or treat-ed as an angel. I got 4 chocolate bars, 8 cans of pop and 5 bags of chips. Now you all must be thinking along the lines of, "You had to of gone to more houses to get all of that!" And, no I didn't. I'm in the county and that much is normally pretty good for two houses. We always give out a lot of candy mostly cause people wont go to more than 5 houses, and this year we had an all time low of 5 people come to my house and one was my sister meaning 4 people came.
Oh well more candy for me. And now I must go....my french teacher had fun giving us tons of homework.
