Okay. Completely forget the last journal entry. I'm (almost) completely over that now. It was just kind of like a spur of the moment thing. But here is something you might find VERY interesting... he and I have been e-mailing this morning continuously, and he's been so nice! Here are some of what our e-mails looked like:

This is a message you shall remember.
Do not attempt sending me many emails, as I have the power to fight back. I have
devices on my computer that can easily exhaust your computer. I simply need to
make the largest, most hideous .exe I can possibly come up with. I can make 1000
px. .jpgs. I can send you a text file so long, your computer will never work
again.
You have been warned.

LOL. I send everybody I know way too many chain e-mails. Maybe he talks a little weird, but who cares?! He's my Alex! So, here's what's next then...


Me:
Well... you're up late! And I would rather you not send me any e-mails like that...
Right then.
Well, what do you have against chain e-mails?!
And besides, weren't YOU the one who sent ME like 5 million e-mails with like 3 letters on each one?!
You can't come up with an excuse for that one, now can you?
WHAT NOW?!
LOL JK.
Anyway, just wanted to know what was up, and I will remember not to send you TOO MANY chain e-mails or whatever...
LOL JK.

But why don't you want the awesome photos or whatever? I mean, you've got to admit, those Antarctica waves were pretty awesome...

So... That was me. Now for Alex's response...

Yes, on break, I stay up very late, sometimes up until 3 A.M.
Chain mails are the root of all evil, no matter what anyone says. All they do is
take up precious memory on your online email thing (whatever it is). You should
have seen how much memory your emails took up, my entire memory bar filled up
about 1/8!
I sent those 5 quadrillion emails because the sheer number of emails you sent me
all at once seemed to be an act of cybernetic war, so I was retaliating by
sending you enough emails to take up all or most of your screen.
Those awesome photos take up even more space then a chain mail. And most of them
weren't interesting or funny, like the kung-fu cat thing (really, wtf?). Well,
I'm typing my book and I'm happy because I've been able to type a good two or
three pages. I'm also at a very good part. So yeah, I will be up much longer
until I feel content with my work.

Well then. I figured you were working on either a flash thing or your book, so I guess I was right there. But please, what's up with all the long words? It's frickin 1 in the morning, you think it's easy to understand these things?

If you're wondering why it's taking me so long to respond (which you probably aren't but I'm telling you anyway) is that my computer is a mofo and it's so slow that when I type like two words it finished showing like 2 letters. It's really eeevil. I hate it. But I have to give it to you there, while I'm sitting here wasting away with this inexpensive keyboard and computer that's really slow, you get to type really fast and stuff with that high-tech keyboard and super-fast computer. Well, since I'll be up later than you will for sure, I would really like it if you would e-mail me what you have of your book so far. I'm really interested to see what you have accomplished so far with it.

Well, e-mail me when you get this then (well no,duh lol)

So... was I flirting? My friends say that I always do, but I can never tell. Anyway... on to his response (the last one so far I think, but I'll keep you posted)

As much as I would love to share my book with you, I can't. First of all, it's
very incomplete, only about 50 pages in. Also, I don't feel very safe sharing it
with you yet, as this work is the real deal. No more stories about how I will
write it or how it will be like this, I am actually writing the thing! And to
prevent the writers curse, I can't tell you (writers curse is when you tell
someone else the story so you don't feel as motivated to write it anymore). All
I can say is that the very beginning has a nice sum of action, there is a pretty
long area after that that is filler (that was the hardest part so far,k because
I can guarantee you that there is nothing harder and more boring to write than
filler). I just got to another action sequence, so I had a lot of fun with that.
Now I'm entering the process of introducing the characters that will join my
protagonist on her journey. There will be a bit of action after that and
following that, I will get into the real stuff. Anywa
ys...
Yeah...
I do have high-tech software and an awesome keyboard, but let me assure you, my
computer is pretty slow. I currently have a virtual memory leak, and there are
some registry files that refuse to be cleaned. Also, my wireless connection is
at an all-time high of 24 MB per second with a low signal (which by the way, is
REALLY, REALLY BAD). So yeah, I'm sure that your computer is slower than mine.
But mine is still slow. And, the scariest part is that the person with the
greatest knowledge of modern tech in he house has a computer slower than the the
computer-challenged one.
Argh!
