Strange Dream
I remember it...something I hate. If I remember a dream its rare and it must be important...somehow I guess. Basically it was these two girls, sisters, talking with eachother while walking home from school. Whatever, reason I'm posting it is cuz no one reads this journal. I get to pratice my literary skills a bit. Whoopie.

I feel tired...cousins are home now. Maybe I should sleep...but I feel as if I have things solve so I dun wanna...maybe somethings are unsolvable...if so there may only be one solution...to say good bye to the problem.

Two girls walk next to each other, side by side; There names are Rachael and Ashley. Ashley’s eyes are narrowed, glaring upward, and hinted with anger. Rachael’s arms are crossed as they hold her binder close against her chest. She wanted to say something to her sister but with the expression on her face she was afraid she was afraid Ashley would just blow up in her face. Rachael bit her lip and was about to speak until Ashley beat her to words, “What kind of idiot are you?”
Rachael's eyes widened and watered as she refused to look at Ashley, fearing her eyes were glaring at her. Ashley stops walking, pulling Rachael by the back of her collar, “Answer me. What kind of idiot are you? How long are you going to let that b*****d play with your heart? Till it’s broken? Till it stops working?”

A tear streams down Rachael’s left eye, “Till he’s happy…”

Ashley’s free hand forms a fist, “You really are a retard. Don’t you get? He’s using you and to him love is his game. He wasn’t even playing love with you though girl. He was playin’ lust.”
Ashley sits on a bench and drags Rachael down with her, “Why do you care so much about a retard that has been treating you like a replaceable item?”

“Shut up! Why do you always have to speak so lowly of him!?” Rachael exclaims as she stands up, dropping her binder, “He’s kind and actually caring. It’s people like you that make him feel the opposite!”

“When you first met him you guys were great friends. He was the first person that I know of that you could really open to besides me, but even I have a hard time getting you to open up. When he first asked you out you turned him down because he had dated and dumped a friend of yours. Even though it was about 2 months before then you said you wanted to wait. He waited and you eventually said yes,” Ashley said giving a gentle smile. It quickly turned in to a death glare with angered words, “But then what does he do? The same thing he has done with other girls: dumped you. Sometime later he asks you out again but once again you wanted to wait. He said he loved you and would wait. For a guy willing to wait for you twice…I respected him but it wasn’t long after that he lost all my respect.”

Rachael stood dumb-folded, tears now falling rapidly from her eyes. She didn’t think Ashley ever had respect for him. She always acted as if he was her enemy. Why was she telling her this now?

“During that time he said he’d wait…during that time he said he loved you…what did he do? He went behind your back and dated someone else for about a month and never told you!” Ashley shouts as she stood, looking as if she was on intent to kill.

Rachael jumps back, torn between anger and sadness, yet tied with pain, “He had the right! We weren’t going out so who was I to stop him! If he is happy with her so be it! Why should I ruin his chance at happiness!? That’s all I’ve done!”

Ashley slaps her sister, something she never did. She looked at her calmly with narrowed eyes, “No Rachael…you’ve never done such a thing. What you just said proves it. All you want is for him to be happy, no? Why should you ruin his chance at happiness, right? The real question is why should he ruin yours? Why must everyone be happy so you can? You make the decision to be happy or not…so why are you letting him decide for you?”

Rachael falls to the ground as tears burst from her eyes. She just wanted it to stop. The tears, the pain…just stop. She place a hand on her heart, “Because I’ve felt worse pain than anyone has ever known…never will I let someone reach that pain…even if it costs my own joy.”
