Life Lesson: If you're at a beach and, for some strange reason that pertains little to nothing to you, a hole is dug that is deemed a safety hazard by life-gaurds and you decide to jump into it while it's being filled because you want to be buried, DON'T!.
I say this because you will be uncomfortable and have cramps in places you wouldn't believe you could have them. And sand, but that isn't such a big deal.
The struggle to unearth youself from such a death trap with little kids continually pushing sand back in is nigh impossible. The only way I was able to escape was because my arms weren't buried too deep and I was able to use them.
So yeah, I went to a beach party. It was fun. Hot dogs, corn, s'mores, soda. Mmm, good things. I had fun, except for the ordeal, but that's besides the point.
Harry Potter Book 6 comes out Friday night. Woohoo! I'm a dork and proud! Midnight releases are always fun. You meet interesting people awake at that hour.
Gaia is good, seems like a lot of bad things are happening to people, though.
Final Fantasy XI...Well, I just recently got lvl 30 on my monk, so you know what that means? Advanced classes! I decided earlier that if I were to get one, I'd do Dark Knight. So, I'm going around, and I pretty much know what the quest is: Go through mines, recieve craptacular sword, kill 100 enemies with it, go to a certain area and talk to the giver of the sword. So I go through the cave. Easy enough. But...
I didn't get the sword.
I was confused at this at first. I decided I had to be a Warrior, one of the only classes able to equip the sword, and go through the cave. So I change, and start leveling because I haven't done crap with that class and I needed to be stronger. So I'm training...and training...and training still. At this point, I'm wondering if I might've skipped something, so I look in the Player's Guide.
I find out I'm supposed to talk to someone first.
"Ohhh, OK. At least I didn't waste anymore time leveling my crappy Warrior." So I talk to the person, go through the cave, get the sword (finally), change to Warrior and start using the sword of death (of mine or mine oppenent, I don't know.). So I attack a creature...
The wait between attacks is so fricken' long.
Ok, normally, I get to attack everytime the oppenent attacks. Now, I attack every 2.5 attacks they get. It sucks. And I'm supposed to kill 100 things with this piece of crap.
10 down, 90 to go.
