Sunday at AX, the day of complete asskicking. This day will live in infamy, especially with Locke's quote.

Slow day con-wise, more booth work and whatnot. Buying swords for everyone, picking up my new zippo.. Doing the Gaia patio gathering and watching Locke and Kaia9 get yelled at by security one last time. I salute you two.
Fube and I hit the beach in grand style, showing up in a Lincoln Towncar, like visiting celbrities. The beach was not quite the suck, but.. some ******** deranged weather god decides to make it cloudy, cold and overcast the minute we step out of the damn car. Welcome to the beach, enjoy freezing your a** off. So, with fuben soaked, and me covered in sand, and not one damn fangirl in sight to rub suntan lotion into me with small, sexy, supple hands, we departed. No, fuben wouldn't rub suntan lotion into me, either. She resists my wiles and charms, like some gladiator locked into a death battle with my sexyness. So,w e called the driver again to come pick us up. Pretty uneventful. Of course, there was the batshit-insane ******** cabbie who drove us.
This crazy woman is doing 80-90 down the freeway, talking on a cellphone, and constantly turning around in her seat WHILE ON THE FREEWAY to speak to us. She stops at a stoplight, and then, very seriously, asks us if "we've ever been in love?" Then, proceeds to extoll on how she always chooses the wrong man. She does this while driving, changing over 4 lanes of traffic at 85Mph. I have never been so happy to see a hotel in my life. Batshit insane cabby.
So, while we're enroute, we're getting called every 5 minutes by the other mods, practically pleading for us to come to dinner with the admins. So, we change clothes, and proceed to walk down to the diner. They love my a**. Dinner was pretty good. Lanzer fell asleep at the table, like a kid who couldn't quite make it to midnight on new years eve. Or maybe he was just resting for the hijinks planned later. He's tricksy, that one. Apparently, on the way to the diner, they saw an open fireworks stand. twisted Admins after my own heart.
Dinner done, we proceed straight to the felonious activities in the parking lot behind the diner. With glee and madness in his eyes, Locke brandishes these flaming tubes of light, and demands a lighter. Trusty bic flies out of my pocket, and we set the night ablaze. Running, screaming, jumping, playing with fire. We had massive spark-streamers, shooting 2 foot cones of sparks. What would any, sensible, rational person do? The exact opposite of what we did. We had swordfights with the damn things. We waved them about and hurled tham at each other. Darknrgy chased us down with one, briefly spraying my face with red-hot reckless endangerment. They were thrown in the air, at trees, and kicked across the ground. It was ********. We disperesed after the first round, to relocate our mischeif elsewhere.
I watched fuben and Locke bond over misdeeds and swirly evil thoughts, breaking into construction yards, throwing explosives.. Goddamnit, it was almost cute. Even Lockes suggestion of firework-in-the-butt rocket races was considered at length. Half the group, fearing incarceration, split off to avoid the long arm of the law, while we greedily hugged our cherished explosives and fondled our lighters. A tilled field and a bus turnout was turned into our next arena of light and destruction. I've got a video of some of the other mods filming our display from a few blocks away. It's one of those "you had to be there" moments. It will never die.
I'm tempted to state that this was the best moment for me, and quite frankly, this was the best damn night for me.

Well, we headed out on monday, after a quick shufty around the con. There was wailing, screaming, and the lamentations of the women. Well.. Not really. But, I didn't get a kick in the a** and a push out the door, so I ain't complaining. At least koko didn't baseball-swing and slap my a** again. Moony didn't pull crazy mad kibuki s**t on me, so all's well that ends well.
Brief notes on random s**t:
JWA airport rocks. checked in, security, bags, and eating all within 20 minutes.
I didn't quite want to leave. I didn't quite want to stay.
Locke is still my favorite admin.
Darknrgy is a very close second.
Lanzer is an evil ninja, as in, he brings the evil, with ninja style.
There better be a tapeball in the next item update.
Ling leaves horrible comments on my journal. Comments I dare not respond to. Ever. To do so would be grave.
