Light
Humanity stives for your touch.
Humanity longs for your acceptance.
Mere mortals wish to become
What they cannot.
They want ot be complete.
I used to strive for Light's warm embrace.
I wanted so much to be loved.
How can I be loved,
If I didn't love myself?
That is when a seed of dark began to grow.
The darkness became part of me.
I saw the light for what it was.
It was something to aspire to,
But nothing that any soul cold acheive.
Light, is both a blessing and a curse.
I found safety in the dark.
There, I could feel no pain, no hate.
I still look for the light,
In that infinite darkness of alone.
I still hope, that some brave soul will come for me.
I live there, I am safe from every harm.
I want to experience life!
I do not want to be in the dark anymore!
I want to live in the Light!
I want to be loved.
I used to think that only fools,
Who feared the darkness of their own hearts,
Longed for the light. Longed for its warmth.
They feared the dark that I embraced.
That was why they lived in the light.
I used to think that the light was a facade.
That the light was only possible with the aide of the dark.
This is partly true. They cannot be without the darkness.
Every soul was once in the dark. Then came the light.
The light gave them hope. Hope for every emotion they had.
Dormant emotions became known.
Wether they were good, or bad, or painful,
Those who lived in the light never left.
The light is a sign of strength.
To receed and succumb into the darknes's depths is weakness.
I want to be strong.
I want to feel every emotion availible to me.
I want to live like those in the light.
Let me be a fool who stives for warmth!
Let me live in that warm, loving Light!

Poetry From my Heart
Poetry comes from a Poet's own soul and the deepest depths of their heart. Wether it be dark and depressing, light and cheerful, loving and romantic, it all reflects upon the poet's own needs, hopes, fears, and general oppinions.

You banished me from heaven,
I was cast out of hell,
and now I must wander the earth for eternity.
How trecherous those white wings of yours are; for white is the true color of death.
I was cast out of hell,
and now I must wander the earth for eternity.
How trecherous those white wings of yours are; for white is the true color of death.
