So it's been a few days since this was announced on the Super Smash Bros.: Brawl website. In all honesty, I thought it would never happen. Inconceivable for Sonic, long rival to Mario since the 16-bit days and mascot of Sega, to join in on Brawl. So when it was 12:20am and I refreshed to see his picture, I was confused, happy, tired, and lost with it all.I mean, I'm completely in for Sonic joining the fight. I was a huge fan of him back when I had a Genesis. He was awesome. However, his addition just...I don't know. It seems like it destroyed the foundation of the SSB series. Snake (who also had his share of most awesome updates) was a big enough surprise and seemed to challenge that. But this? This is beyond Sparta now. THIS. IS. SONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!!
Just from mere observation of the video they put up, it seems like he is one of the faster but lighter characters and has about "Mario"-ish strength. Also seems like he has extreme aerodynamics when falling. Definitely a character I will be checking out.
But on that note, Nintendo pulled the very familiar move of pushing back the game's release date to February 10th, a whole two months. That's not Sparta. It's definitely madness. Quit it with those shenanigans, Nintendo! D:
In other news, the new Magic the Gathering set, Lorwyn, was released this weekend. I went out and bought half a box and managed to construct a pretty awesome Elf deck that creates massive amounts of tokens and has a lot of abilities based on the amount of Elves out in play. Seems like it'll be a very common strategy among players but I like it. smile Just need to tweak it around a bit and it should play really well.
As for real life, college goes on. Still looking for a job. D: Also, changed my blue/teal/aqua/turquoise hair back to black. Still, now it has this awesome blue tint to it in some areas, almost giving it this comic-book black kind of color. biggrin
Just discovered this, This is Halloween by Marilyn Manson, one day while browsing YouTube. In all honesty, I think I like it better than the original. Very well done and seems to be right up Manson's alley.
