Chapter 2: Never Give Up!

Tanugi tiredly walked towards her apartment. "Yukimaru..." She sighed as she looked at the sky. "I felt like an idiot for crying like that..." She said to herself. "Yuki is so awesome... and I'm so... plain..." She looked to her left as her eyes began to water again. She glanced at a small bookstore to her left. It's open with no one inside. She took a step iside and the bells on the doors rang. "Hello there, I'm Goemon, the owner of this establishment... how may I help a lovely lady like yourself?" Grinned a little old man. "Um..." She looked at him akwardly. "Ahh... a love situation isn't it?" The old man winked. "H-how did you know?" She blushed. "Come on..." the old man led her to a shelf of books. He took out a dusty old book covered with old Chinese characters. "Here, it's free..." He grinned at her. Tanugi smiled and bowed. "Thank you Mister!" She said politely. "Bah, just come by anytime you need help..." The old man grinned and disappeared into a dark hallway. She scratched her head and looked at the book. "Maybe It'll help..." She ran home and dove into her bed. "I'm so tired!" She screamed while hugging a stuffed bear. She glanced on the book on the floor and picked it up. She opened it to the first page revealing a list of rules: "I must not harm humans, I must not love, I must not meddle with a person's life, I must follow my owner," Tanugi scratched her head. She turned a page and revealed a picture of a heart... below it a few words: "Your name above, the one you love below" She read it curiously. "Is this some sort of game?" She smiled. "I'll be so happy if this works!" She took out a pen and wrote her name in the heart... below she wrote "Yukimaru Yamamoto". She gave the page a quick kiss. "Well a girl can dream..." She giggled. "Yup..." Said a voice behind her. She got nervous and turned around. It felt like a dream to her... a boy with long black hair and dog ears. He has a black heart just below his left eye. He is naked except for a collar on his neck. She shivered and screamed. "HELP! A PERVERT!!!" She cried with all her might. She threw a book on the boy's head. "Gahh... what's the big Idea you ugly moron?" He rubbed his head and looked at her in the eyes. "W-who... who are you?" Tanugi asked still thinking it's a dream. "I'm Aimaru... your personal Love God... I guess you're my master from now on..." He said scratching his head. "Are you knidding me? Is this a joke?" She said trying not to look down. "I wish it was... this'll be challenging... no one would fall for a geek like you..." He chuckled and recieved a kick in the face. "Ow... calm down, I was kidding..." He laughed and picked up the book. "So... your name is Tanugi..." He said as he read the second page. "Yup..." She said looking away. "Don't worry, I'm a pro... I could make any pair fall in love... he he..." He laughed vainly. His stomach roared. "Gahh... sooo hungry..." He cried. "What do you want me to do?" Tanugi said as she read a manga. "Damn you... feed me!" He roared. "If you wear these... it's kind of akward seeing you naked..." She held out a pair of her pajamas. "Hell no! I'm not wearing those worn out rags!" He protested. "So no food for you..." She laughed evily. "Heartless..." He snatched the clothes and wore them. "You look soooo cute!" She laughed. "Damn you... go on and cook, you wretch..."
