And I'd give it all away
just to have somewhere to go to
Give it all away
to have someone to come home to

So my first week of college is almost done. I'd say a few things came as a surprise to me namely because I never thought about them. Like people smoking. And how the teacher's say "That's it for today" and there's no bells, no buzzer, nothing other than their word for your dismissal.

I will say, though, that I like it a lot more than high school. The freedom to come and go, to be held responsible, to be treated like an adult is super neat-o. And that there's often breaks in class or that I can be let out early. Like my Fitness for Living class. I was let out 50min. early (and it's a 1hr. and 30min. class) and, according to my brother, the teacher does that on a fairly regular occasion. The bus ride is longer than the class.

A few things I hate about college, however:

-Way too big. We're talking Xbox HUEG compared to high school. And when it's blazing hot and I have to walk 10-15min. to get to my next class, it's not cool. D:

-I have to pay for EVERYTHING. D:

That's about it. Some small things I still need to get adjusted to but other than that it's really cool.

This is my December
This is my time of the year
This is my December
This is all so clear

This is my December
This is my snow-covered home
This is my December
This is me alone

And I
Just wish that I didn’t feel
Like there was something I missed
And I
Take back all the things I said
To make you feel like that
And I
Just wish that I didn't feel
Like there was something I missed
And I
Take back all the things I said to you

And I’d give it all away
Just to have somewhere to go to
Give it all away
To have someone to come home to

This is my December
These are my snow-covered trees
This is me pretending
This is all I need

And I
Just wish that I didn’t feel
Like there was something I missed
And I
Take back all the things I said
To make you feel like that
And I
Just wish that I didn’t feel
Like there was something I missed
And I
Take back all the things that I said to you

And I’d give it all away
Just to have somewhere to go to
Give it all away
To have someone to come home to

This is my December
This is my time of the year
This is my December
This is all so clear

Give it all away
Just to have somewhere to go to
Give it all away
To have someone to come home to

Give it all away
Just to have somewhere to go to
Give it all away
To have someone to come home to

College is nothing to mess around with, thats another big difference about High School that some people might not understand until they witness it.

I remember my first day in Disney University, its located near (Like, 3 minutes driving away from Parking) the Magic Kingdom, and it really is not that big. I was pretty lucky to navigate my way around the place and finding my classes there.

But overall, the Summer and Spring segment of my college was a wonderful experience. A higher education beyond High school, in my opinion, is by far a very wonderful experience. Especially if you have a small class like I did. (Man we joked around endlessly)

Oh I understood that long ago. Yeah you can mess with it but it's your money in the end. neutral Personally I see the people that pay for classes then either fail or get dropped are pretty unintelligent.

I had pretty big classes this week. They were around 35 students so I guess that's a pretty decent size. I imagine it'll get closer to 30, maybe even 25 in a few weeks.

Textbook prices will kill you. Try, try, TRY to get used books from somewhere other then the bookstore.

It is very common for professors to end early on the first or second class. I'd say about 90% of the time in my three years the professor let us go early on the first day.

They do. D: So far I haven't opened/used any of the books I've been required to buy so far in case I see an ad for the same book being sold used. I know a bunch of people who I hang out with on Tuesday nights so next Tuesday I'm going to see if I can get some used books from them.

Other than my Fitness class, my other professors haven't ended class early yet. ._.;
