Ricky: ... Finally, someone to explain some things to us. Where are we?
Daniel: You mean, no one named Maria has told you anything?
Josh: When we woke up, we saw one empty bed, Jenny, Gingy and Carolina asleep, and an empty house. We're the only ones here, now where are we?
Daniel: ... A woman named Maria saved us all from that bottomless pit. This is her house.
Ricky: Oh... dang my left leg hurts.
Daniel: It's broken, I wouldn't mess with it. You shouldn't have even been able to get in here on it.
Ricky: I did just fine!
Daniel: Maybe those fruits work better then I thought...
Josh: So, what happened after Matt almost killed us all?
Daniel: I know as much as you do about that subject. I fell down the hole too you know...
Josh: And you just happen to be the only one without a broken bone?
Daniel: Ya, so?
Josh: There's something not right about that... there's no way most people could survive that fall, let alone come out of it with no broken bones.
Daniel: Well, y'all survived didn't you?
Josh: Well, ya, but barely. We all came out with broken bones.
Daniel: I know! Apparently, you guys think I knew what was going to happen! Well, I didn't! It was sheer luck! If this is the way I get treated after I buy dinner, then maybe I should stop being nice!
I threw the bag with the dinner in it on the floor, and walked out of the house angrily.
Carolina: what did you guys do?!
Josh: Carolina!
Carolina: Yes me! What did you say to him?
Ricky: JOSH here was implying that Daniel helped with the ice fall.
Josh: Shut up Ricky! You were agreeing with me before he walked in!
Ricky: Well... fine. We thought that.
Carolina: I can't believe you guys! Daniel has been nothing but a leader-
Josh: And an a**...
Carolina: evil He has been nothing but a leader and friend to all of us! How could you think that he would do such a thing!?
Ricky: Well, I do find it hard to believe that one village could kill more then half of 8 village's army.
Carolina: And what does that have anything to do with Daniel!?
Josh: well, he knows all of our army's tactics because he gave the tactics to us... We think he might have told the Ice village our tactics.
Carolina: And betray his own village! He used those tactics too! His own people would get slaughtered if he gave that information away! Think before you speak!
Carolina walked back into the bedroom angry.
Josh: ... Don't they make such a cute couple?
Ricky: .....
After I left the house, I went back to the hole. I saw a rock with a rope tied around it leading down into the hole. I looked down and I saw Maria unconcience on the floor of it, with half of a snapped rope tied around her waist.
Daniel: Mom!!!
I started trying to climb down the hole, and slipped many times, but maintained my grip. In what seemed and hour and was technically 5 minutes, I made it to the bottom. I picked her up, put her on my shoulder, and looked for a way up the hole. There was no way I'd be able to climb the hole carrying Maria, so I put her back down, and grabbed two of the healing fruits. I opened her mouth, and made her chew one and swallow it. I put the other in my pocket. Then I sat down and waited. Hours passed by... No sign of anything outside of the hole... I fell asleep after about 4 hours of waiting.
I woke up to someone talking, but I didn't open my eyes. I listened. It was Maria
Maria: I never got to tell you this, but I'm so proud of.... no that wont work. She'd never believe that for a second. What about... no..... At least Daniel sees my point fo veiw... but I have to convince Jenny that I didn't mean to hurt her. I mean, she grew up just fine, in fact, she grew up better then if I was her parent.
Voice: Hello! Is anyone down there? I heard voices... ya... I think someone's down there...... No I don't know who it is!!
Maria: Help! We need help! Please!
Voice: ..... Ya, its her..... I don't want to help her but..... ugh, fine..... Hang on! Watch out! ..... No I don't know if he's down there, I can't see very well down there.... Fine, I'll ask. Is there anyone else down there with you!?
Maria: Yes! My son and me are down here!
Voice: Well, now I have no choice..... Allright! Watch out!!
Maria: Daniel. Wake up. We're being saved!
I opened my eyes, and saw stairs appearing from the side of the hole. Someone with ground powers were creating them.
Voice: Allright! Come on up!
We walked up the stairs and when we got out, we saw Jenny and Carolina.
Carolina: Daniel!!!
Carolina ran up to me and put her arms around me.
Carolina: We didn't know where you were! We looked all over for you!
Daniel I had to save my mom.
Maria: If it wasn't for him, I'd be dead by now. He fed me the healing fruit in time.
Jenny: Hmph...
Daniel: Jenny! scream
Jenny: What!?
Daniel: ... Nevermind...
Maria: .....
Carolina: ..... Let's go home?
Jenny: Great idea! Let's go!
We all walked back to the house.
Daniel: You three need to go and rest. I have something I have to do in town.
Carolina: Come back this time please! No more 7 hours scares!
Daniel: Of course. Bye!
I walked back into the town, and back to the store. I went in adn saw all of the kids sleeping.
Store Owner: Oh! It's you again.
Daniel: I said I'd come back.
Store Owner: Well, they're all sleeping as you can see. It doesn't look like you brought much.
Daniel: Just this.
I pulled the fruit out of my pocket.
Store Owner: One fruit isn't going to feed them all.
Daniel: This one's for Billy. It's a healing fruit. I'm hoping it heals his disease.
Store Owner: ..... Billy isn't here.....
Daniel: Then where is he?
Store Owner: ..... He died after he finished eating that carrot you fed him. There was a big smile on his face when it happened.
Daniel: ..........
Store Owner: I'm sorry. It's best that you go so that we don't wake up the kids.
Daniel: ..........
I walked out of the store. As I got about 8 stores down, I saw EPO (Earth Police Officers) barge into the store. They came out with the stre owner in handcuffs, and all of the kids came out crying.
Police Cheif: You are under arrest for keeping unowned children in your store. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do can and will be used against you.
I kept walking away, but before I turned completely around, I saw a little bit of dug up ground with a sign above it that read.
