Daniel: Our mother!?
Maria: Yes. I'm your mother...
Jenny: .....
Daniel: ... Jenny? You ok?
Jenny: No. No I'm not! Why would you hide me and Daniel from eachother!? It might have been better for us to have grown up with a sibling!
Maria: We hid you from eachother for your own protection! And don't talk to me in that tone of voice young lady!
Jenny: Protect us from what? While we were groing up, all was at peace!
Daniel: Jenny...
Jenny: Wait Daniel, I'm not done! I'm betting the community would've accepted the fact of mixed breeding! Everything was accepting back then! I'm thinking the only ones you were trying to protect were you and Dad!!!
Maria: .....

Maria walked out the front door as white as a ghost.

Daniel: Jenny, you didn't have to do that...
Jenny: I've wanted to do that ever since I've figured out we were brother and sister.
Daniel: Still, don't you think that was a little harsh?
Jenny: The truth is harsh sometimes.
Daniel: Even if it was the truth, you have to see where she's coming from. Mixed breeding had never happened in the public before, and they didn't want to be the first to announce it.
Jenny: So they basically tossed me away to the first person that came to mind! You don't know what it feels like to figured out that the person that raised you, isn't your true father!
Daniel: You're right. I don't know what it feels like, but maybe you shouldn't let all of the anger out at once.
Carolina: What's going on? Where are we?
Jenny: Go back to bed. I'm going back too.
Daniel: Good night...
Jenny: .....

They walked into the bedroom. I walked out the front door, and saw Maria crying on the porch. As soon as I walked out, she tried hiding her tears.

Daniel: Don't take it personally. Jenny just let her anger all out at once, you know?
Maria: *sniff* Ya, I know, but she's right. Your father and me did do that to protect ourselves. I hadn't thought of it that way until now.
Daniel: Don't dwell on the past. You can't change it. I'm going into town, and I don't know when I'll be back.

I left, and went into town. There was a huge funeral for all of the troops that died in the battle happening. I kept walking towards the castle. Many of the villagers were mourning the loss of their loved ones. I finally made it to the castle, and I heard arguing from inside. I walk in to see Ryan and Chase arguing around a map.

Ryan: We put up defenses! We make them come to us!
Chase: There's no us! We lost half of our troops in that battle! If they come, we'll be massacered!
Daniel: Guys...
Ryan: Then what do you suppose we do then huh?
Chase: We make a last stand full frontal attack on the ice village!
Daniel: Guys.
Ryan: They'll kill us all! We wouldn't stand a chance!
Chase: Then we attack from the back!
Daniel: Guys!!!!
Ryan: .....
Chase: .....
Daniel: Stop arguing! I've been in here for less then a minute and I already have a headache!
Chase: Daniel??? We thought you were....
Ryan: ..... dead......
Daniel: No, I'm not dead.
Chase: Then what of the others?
Daniel: They're all fine, just a few broken bones. Mom said they'd be fine in less then a week.
Ryan: Mom?
Daniel: Oh ya. The one that saved us is Jenny's and my mom.
Chase: Wow, well what do you know...
Ryan: What are the odds?
Daniel: So, you want a plan on taking down the ice, huh? You don't need one. All you need is me, and Gwee!
Ryan: .....
Chase: .....
Ryan and Chase: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Daniel: What?
Chase: The ice village has made a whole army out of ice. You wouldn't stand a chance.
Daniel: Wrong, and plus, I wouldn't be the one fighting the army. I'd be the one on the inside of the castle fighting Matt.
Chase: And how do you intend to get in there?
Daniel: ..... Your idea Chase. A full frontal attack. It will be used as a diversion so Jenny, Ricky, Josh, Gingy, and me could sneak in.
Ryan: Awww..... I wanted to sneak in too!
Daniel: We would need at leats 2 generals out front.
Ryan: Now where would we get those....... Oh..........
Chase: The new Ashely of the group.
Ryan: Hey!!!!
Daniel: Anyway, I need to get going. I'm buying dinner tonight. Don't tell my mom. She doesn't know!
Ryan: How do we tell someone we haven't met?
Daniel: Good point.
Chase: Allright. Cya.

I left to the marketplace. Most of them were closed for the funeral, but one was open. It was a shop that didn't have much in it, and there were lots of orphans inside.

Store Owner: Welcome.
Daniel: Thanks, this should be quick.
Store Owner: No! Please. Take your time.

I started looking through the store. I got some carrots, lettuce heads, and, unfortunately, brusel sprouts. As I paid for it all, the store owner seems kind of occupied trying to calm down the orphans.

Store Owner: Hey! Stop messing with that! Oh! Here's your change!
Daniel: No! No! Keep the change!
Store Owner: ... Thank you.

As I was making my way to the door, I noticed one of the orphans sitting on the ground next to the door. As I almost left, he looked up at me. He was basically skin and bone. I grabbed one of the carrots from my bag and gave it to him.

Boy: ..... Thank you.... Mister....
Store Owner: I see. You are a very nice man.
Daniel: How did all of these kids get here?
Store Owner: All of their parents died in the battle yesterday. I'm doing my best to help them.
Daniel: Hmm... You don't seem to have enough food in the shop to feed them all.
Store Owner: I'm going to have to find something to feed them. I can't just throw them out on the streets. They have grown attached to me already.
Daniel: They're children. They grow attached to anything that helps them.
Store Owner: Still, I need to figure out something to feed them. The one you just fed, Billy, he has a disease. I don't know exactly what it is, but everything he eats goes straight through him, he doesn't get any of the nutrients.
Daniel: ..... I really need to get going... I'll be back later. Bye!
Store Owner: Ok, I didn't mena to hold you up.
Daniel: It's no problem.

I walked out of the town.
