Some of you may know that my sister has been in and out of the doctors office for the last two weeks. I belive it totals to like 6 times?
Anyway the 6th time she went the doctor set up an appointment for her in strong (the big hospital in the area) because they'd done all they could do and she still wasn't getting better.
She was diagnosed with cancer.... She's only two
specifically Nueroblastoma which is the second most common type of cancer in her age group, she has 3 tumors, Two about a mancola bead size (flat marble) in her head, one is at the front and one is at the side, both between her skull and her brain, not actually IN her brain... And then she has one about 3/4 the size of her kidney above her kidney
As of now they are planning to take a marrow sample to determain what kind of chemo they are going to put her on... They plan to put her on chemo to shrink the tumors and then just take them out.....
Depending on her reaction to the chemo they MAY have to do a marrow transplant at the end of the treatment as they think some of the cancer cells may have gotten into the marrow on one of her hips..
She'll pull through though...
