This morning I went with Alex to return some clothes and stuff. I had nothing better to do so I might as well. We went to Target and they wouldn't give her money back, instead she had to exchange for other clothes worth the same price, so we looked around for stuff, and I ended up getting two skirts since she couldn't find anything else she wanted. And then we went to the mall so she could exchange something else, but at least they didn't make her do that there. Her friends were there buying her a gift for the wedding. And we went to see if I could get an appointment to get my nails done, and the lady said to check back at a certain time but we ended up forgetting about it. Oh well, I'll just do my own nails. They'll still look good. We went to a few stores and I bought two shirts. One of them is to wear to the rehearsal dinner thing. It matches my shoes. The other I just think is cute so I bought it. After that we went home, and I got online. Later, my uncle was cooking burgers on the grill. Here start the canoe story. My dad and uncle got this bright idea that it would be fun to take this canoe out on some river tomorrow. The canoe belonged to my cousin Chris though, so he had to bring it over. I guess he came right when the food was done, because they left the food outside, on the table, and went to go put the canoe in the car. Another bright idea. Someone thought it would be nice to eat outside, at night. Luckily I had already said there was no way I was eating out there with all the bugs and crap, so I was given my food and I ate inside and talked to Kaz. Meanwhile, the rest of the food sat on the table out there, unattended. My dad and uncle and Chris were putting the canoe in the car, I don't know where my mom was, maybe she was helping them or something, and my aunt was sitting in the living room, watching TV. I went in there and told her that the food was sitting out there, and she goes, "I don't give a s**t anymore!" XD I had to keep from laughing. She was pretty mad about them abandoning dinner like that. I don't know why she didn't just go ahead and eat, I guess she thought she needed to wait for them. She wasn't happy about it. Well finally, after quite a while, they all came back and went out there to eat. I knew there was no way that food sat out there all this time and didn't get any bugs on it. There's just no way. Sure enough, a few minutes later, I heard my mom yelling about something out there. Then she came inside, a spoon dripping beans everywhere. I asked her what happened, and she said a moth got in the beans. XD Well, I tried to tell them so. It was pretty funny. My mom all mad and beans dripping everywhere, because she had to take a spoon and get the part with the moth out, which she apparently threw in the bushes or something. And apparently someone ate those beans, once the moth had been removed. I really wonder how people could not think that leaving food outside like that, for at least ten minutes or more, could not get any bugs or anything happen to it. I'm just glad I ate inside. My food was hot, and bug free.
