I stayed up all night again, so I wouldn't have to wake up. Kaz stayed up with me the whole time at least. The trip was boring like always. The most interesting parts of the trip were a van full of Mexicans stranded by the side of the road, a horrible traffic jam on the highway because of an overturned truck, and a place called Peach Park. It took me a while to actually fall asleep at first. I think sleeping in the car is starting to bother me and it's hard to sleep there now. But at least I got to see that van. First we saw a police car going down the side of the road. A minute later we saw where he was going, up ahead was a van and a bunch of Mexicans standing around it. It was just funny to see this broken down van full of Mexicans. I mean, that sucks that their van broke down and they were stranded there for a while but we were laughing about it. And then a little bit later my dad was complaining about people doing stupid things and was like, "Where are the police when you need them?" And my mom said, "Back there helping the Mexicans." XD After that I feel asleep for a long time I think. I woke up every once in a while but nothing interesting happened and I went back to sleep. I finally woke up when we were in the middle of a traffic jam, somewhere in Alabama. I think the car coming to a stop woke me up, because at first I thought they stopped for gas again. They'd done that earlier and I had woke up and moved so I could lie down in the seat and be more comfortable until we left. So I was pretty confused to see all these stopped cars around. But I ended up being able to lie down on the seat during that mess since we were going so slow. When we finally got through it, at the end, it was people cleaning up soda or something that had come out of a truck that turned over. Nothing else interesting after that until we stopped for gas again in some little hick town. My mom wanted to eat and we were arguing about where to eat. The places there were all crappy and no one wanted the same thing. My dad wanted Wendy's, and my mom wanted McDonald's. I don't really like either of those so I said Burger King, which isn't great either but I figured wasn't as bad as the other two, and my mom said she hated Burger King so she would not go there. So then I said let's go to Waffle House since it wouldn't really be fast food, and my mom said no to that too. There was some place across the street from the gas station called Peach Park. My mom said maybe we should go over there. I laughed at the name of course, it sounded ridiculous. Who names a resteraunt Peach Park? I told her the name was too weird, and that I didn't want to go there. It could be another place like that Granny's Country Kitchen. I've had bad experiences with weird resteraunts that have weird names and are in weird little hick towns. I didn't want to have to put up with anymore mean, crazy weirdos running weird little places in the middle of nowhere. She told my dad we should go to Peach Park, and I don't think he wanted to either. But we ended up going there anyway because no one could decide. Well it wasn't bad at least. There were no mean old ladies working there, but there were a lot of old people eating there. It was still weird though. They had like this park outside the resteraunt with these swings and stuff and a little pond and stuff. I've never seen a place like this. These weird little places are always in places that are like out in the country and the middle of nowhere. I don't think there was really anything else interesting the rest of the trip after that. I was so glad to finally get out of the car when we got here.
