Today a fantastical event went down at the Dollar Tree. Surprised? You shouldn’t be.
It all began after I returned from a well deserved break. I was at my register, chatting with a friend who was working with me, and the conversation was about the convention that I was going to this Saturday. The moment I said “No, I’m not working then because I’m going to a convention.” The woman I was ringing let out a little gasp. She went on to tell me she loved to go to conventions and we started to talk about ones we attended in the past. All the while, I had this odd feeling. I didn’t know what it meant, but I sensed something different about her (if that is the right word). I told her how I always went to Otakon, and how it was an anime convention. The second I told her it had to do with anime; I got a costumer who wasn’t in the mood to have a cashier that chatted. So, I had to cut our conversation short, but not before the lady whispered on her way out “I love Anime, too ^^b”. Once I finished ringing up my line, I glanced over at my friend and posed “Was she a…”
“Yep, she was a trannie.” She said before I could finish my sentence.
Huzzah~!! Not only did this person love anime, she was a transsexual! I love it when I meet interesting and unique people that have the same interest as I do. I was so sad I didn’t get her email of phone number. I would have loved to hangout. Perhaps, she will return to me someday, and we can continue are little tête-à-tête.
PS: Kyo is a fanatical freak, and I love him for it, yo.
