O HAY YALL. I'm back from the Governor's School. Yeah, I've been back for a little over a week, and I spent most of that time at the lake for Independence Day. I haven't been to karate in 3 weeks, and I certainly paid for that. I was more worn out than usual, and not only that, but we've started to use another weapon, and I am, yet again, the only one who doesn't have a clue about the kata we're learning with it. Everyone else always seems to how to do at least half the kata, and I never know any. It never fails. We get broadswords this cycle, which I admit, are no where near as annoying as the nunchaku. Since I'm a black-belt now, I get to learn more advanced katas, this time tekki nidan. It's fun, but it's really complicated. @_@;
Anyway! SCGSAH was really fun, and I don't have much else to say about it. I've finally made up my mind that I am going to audition for the Residential High School. Yep, that means if I get accepted, I'll spend my junior and senior years of high school at SCGSAH, and I'll even live on campus; like the Summer Academy, but for the whole two years. Just one thing I'm not going to illuminate on; I am definitely taking my Bible with me next time.
I was at the school during my birthday (I am FIF-TEEN), so I didn't get a celebration; however, I did get plenty to... make up I guess. (Argh, that makes me sound so selfish!) The only thing I asked for was Hellsing Ultimate vol II, and they ordered the Limited Edition for me. The means of censorship on it was a text-bubble shaped sticker that said "Exclusive Version!" on it. And I left it there. We (me, my cousin Brittney, and my brother Will) watched it 325935465 times while we were at the lake. 8D
I also received a total of $70 in birthday money. With it I bought Berserk, Pokemon Adventures, and .Hack//Another Birth at Borders. I used the rest of the money on Buddha volume 3, and the game Contact. :3
Oh yeah, my cousin Summer came to live with us. She'll be going to high school with me this year (I'll be a sophomore, so I still get at least one more year at Byrnes). That's all I have to tell for right now. o3o
