"...it's not the big things, but the little things that can mean so much..."
You know, I think far too many people today focus so much on the big projects and such in life, that they forsake the little things. It's such a shame.
I mean, really, what would make you smile more: having a friend give you a big present on your birthday or having someone you feel close with get you a small item for no reason at all other than that they saw it and thought of you? I know, for me, the second scenario would put a bigger smile onto my face.
Now don't get me wrong, here. The big things in life (i.e. - school, work, finances, etc., etc.) do warrant attention and all. But, where as the big things may define what we've accomplished in life...the little things are what make life worth living.
