Ok...this may just be me...but this phrase makes absolutely no sense at all: "I/he/she/you caught a cold."
I mean, are there actually people out there who go around and systematically hunt down colds to catch? What does the process entail? Do they have some jars with holes in the top like we used to do to catch fireflies? Is it some big elaborate net? Are they putting some kind of bait under a box and shutting the box down on top of the cold when it goes into the trap?
And on top of that...what's so great about a cold that someone would even want to catch one? I can't think of anyone. Everyone I know doesn't like the feeling. The stuffy noses, in particular, I find quite annoying.
I vote that this phrase be changed to something more realistic...maybe: "A cold has performed a hostile takeover of my body, but my special forces are working to eliminate the threat."...or some other such thing.
