I am now my mom's personal slave....I got my learner's permit today!And now,I get to drive my mommy everywhere because I need the practice....ergh,this is not gonna be fun...and today was actually quite interesting.My mom took me out to this empty country road,and pulled over on the side of the road.I got in the driver's seat,and she told me where to go.So,I'm drivin' down the country road,along all the little turns and curves of the road.She tells me to pull into the parking lot of the little marina that was out that way,and told me to park.I did,and she told me to get out and check.I actually did really good in the parking lot.So,she told me to drive down another road that led to the airfield.I drove out there,then turned around and went back on post.I thought they were gonna ask for my learner's permit,but thankfully,as I was going through the gate,they didn't even look twice at my age.So,we're drivin' down the road,and traffic starts to pick up.I start to panic slightly,since I'm not used to high traffic.My mom tells me to pull into the shoppette parking lot,and we go inside.I offer to drive home,so she directs me out of the parking lot to a quieter road,and I drive all the way home.The only thing that I did wrong was I rolled through a stop sign,and I stopped in the middle of an intersection.....the intersection was probably the worst thing I could do...especially with oncoming traffic....
