Poem 1
Broken piece of my heart lay everywhere
Some pieces are swept away and some are left to stay
Some get stepped on
Some get pushed aside
No one bothers to pick them up
It's as if it's a waste of time
But that's ok, I don’t need anyone anymore, I will be fine
When that thought came along, and I said I will be fine I was wrong, and fell deep inside
Deep inside myself
I barley even laughed
Who ever thought this would happen with the friends I have
I was there, on the outside, but not much emotion showed through
Why?
Because I'm numb and not quite sure what to do
He loves me, and yes, I love him
But everything seems so wrong, so out of place
He will try to help me the best he can
But I'll probably only push him away
Push him away, find a new one, and end up unhappy
Just like at the start
I know he's a good guy and he wants the best for me
But I’m not the best for him
I don’t know what I want out of life
No idea where I want to go
He deserves much better then some child like me
So my love, my baby, I think it's best I let you be

There's a piece here, and there's a piece there
I love you more, you love her more
When you said those words I felt so sore
“She’s my fiancée”
I swear my heart broke into two
Knowing my life long dream wont come true
“Her name’s Sarah”
As you talked about her hears blurred my vision
Goosebumps ran over my skin
My heart stopped beating
I felt dead, no, I am dead
I love him yes, the man I’m with
But love someone as much as I’ve loved you
Never
It’s obvious you love her, you want the best for her
When you and I spoke, I tried to play it off like I don’t care
But that didn’t go to well
It’s obvious you’ve moved on
Now it’s my turn
But I can’t
In order for me to move on, I have to leave you behind
Leave your eyes, your smile, you, in the past, and never the future
I'm afraid to love
Not just you, but everyone
This is my stop light, I shall not move forward
Nor backwards
Instead I’ll stay in this spot
My eyes are glazed over and I am now numb
I wish you and her the best of love
Talk to you later?
I think not, because I’ve disappeared into darkness, out of this life
I love you more then she ever could
But you cannot see that
I’ll never forget you
And please don’t ever forget me
Goodbye love

Love me not, because I am not she
Love me not cause we can never be
I thought I had a chance
But my chance was gone way to long ago
I love you more
But you’ll never love me
I’m a friend
A friend who gave you everything you ever wanted and more
A friend who is nothing more then just a friend
It was nice to dream of you and I
But I knew at some point my dream would die
I pray for you every night
I picked you’re your start in the dark cold night
And I talk to it as if it was you
To bad you couldn’t hear my words, feel my love, or see my pain
You once told me you don’t want love
So I let it be and we stayed friends
For some reason I think you told me that to keep me away
Because you knew I’d respect your wishes
I though about telling you how I felt, how I feel
But I felt I might have lost you as a friend, and that’s something I don’t want to chance
Now I regret not telling you how I feel
Not telling you how much I love you, how much I want to be with you
But your happy and I’ll let you be
No matter I will be with you through the fall
Through the pain, through the tears
I’ll be with you till your last breath
I’ll never be to far to reach
I love you more
Though you love me not

You let him in and he broke your heart
What happened?
You ended up falling apart
You say they’ll never be another
So why even bother?
So you lock your heart up tight
Hoping that maybe this action is right
You surround your heart with bit stone walls
And hope that none of them will fall
Girl you know you’re beautiful
So stop trying not to shine
Tear down those walls
And don’t be afraid of the upcoming falls
He may be gone, but that only means he wasn’t the right one
So don’t say you quite, your done
You have a lot ahead of you
So don’t look back and don’t you dare frown
Because life always has it’s ups and downs
Look ahead and see your bright future
You’re a bright girl, and everyone loves you
You have a lot in store
With your personality and your friends
Your life will never be a bore
What happened?
