You know to most people being the cause of a short story doesnt seem like much. But honestly it means the world to me knowing i could inspire someone to write something. Even the slightest thing. I mean even this short story means so mnuch to me and i never want to forget it. And i remember when he wrote this the last part where he said my head hurts he was gonna say my leg hurts but he decided not to because he didnt want people to get the wrong idea. haha I could care less if anyone doesnt like it, because i love this short story, and it'll always be my favorite. I'll never forget it either.
My arm burned with pain. The numbness kept shooting through my arm and then into my body each time I touched it. It burned with each touch and all I could do was grip my arm tightly and hope the pain would go away.
"Owwww.....It HURTS!" I said almost at the screaming point.
"Ghost are you gonna be alright?" Meena asked.
"y....yeah." I said breathing out hard.
"You sure?!" She asked anxiously
"i said I'll be alright....." I said looking up at her "I don't know what to do to about it......I can't move it..."
"Will a kiss make it feel better?" Meena asked smiling.
Almost instantly i forgot about my pain. I looked up at her with a smile then I grined as I spoke in my deep voice that she always admired.
"Hmmmm....depends where...." I said smiling.
"Well.....let's see....there's your arm..." She said taking a step twords me.
"Yeah,but it hurts to the touch...."
"Then....there's your head" She said taking another step.
She stood there above me. then,she knelt down. Her hair swung behind her and slowly she stroked her hair behind her ear. Then she reached for my face and stroked my face gently.
"how bout the lips....maby that'll make you feel better" She said smiling.
Slowly she and I drew closer and closer to eachother. My pain in my arm had gone away and the clear look in Meena's calm eyes made me forget that I had even hurt my arm. Then,in the moonlight,her lips and mine met.
"feeling better....?" Meena asked backing off.
"Yeah a little,I don't know I think I might of hurt my head too." I said smiling.
" Well....I'll see what I can't do to fix it up!" Meena said laughing gently.
