Maxxi______________

A slight frown invades her façade of laughs and fun. It’s an unknown gesture, not familiar on her friends. This gesture is more than friendly; it was emptiness to her aching heart and soul. Only to pour into her sheet music and the keys to her fingers, but once her friends appear at her doorstep, a fake mask of a fun, cheery girl who would accept pity to her losses. But alone, a cruel, lonely girl stands alone in a world that seemed to forget her. Standing quickly to get to her room, she made herself dizzy and a step or two off. Skipping 2 steps at a time, she tripped and fell onto the top step, just as the phone rang. A scramble of arms and legs to the pink coated phone, she quickly breathed into the receiver,

“Hello, Jampers Residence…..”

“Hello? Maxxi?” a male voice spoke into the other side as she blinked and picked a cheery tone to talk with,

“J! How are you? How ya been?” a roll of the eyes send a shiver down her spine as Maxxi recalls the tone a “PREPPY TONE! Like omg!” another shiver as J recalled,

“Nice. How have YOU been? I mean, we haven’t seen you in a while now.”

“Yeah, sorry bout that, had some………………………….” She looked quickly for an excuse, “I-I had a family emergency, my great aunt petunia is not doing well.” She pretended to tear up.

“Ohh, I am so sorry to hear that. Listen, how bout I and the crew hang out at the hospital with you and your aunt?”

“NO NO NO NO! No! You don’t have to do that for me!” Max started to sweat.

“A’ight, you crazy chick; whatever you say. Gotta go; see ya!” click. A sigh of relief escaped her lips as she turned and fell down the stairs, AGAIN.
