My poems about Rain. i wrote them cause it's been raining a lot lately and i can't really concentrate about anything else. There are three of them. All different lengths and slightly different styles.


It's raining in my mind
Cold drops chill my veins
So you pull me close
Against foggy window pains
Hold me until the cold is no more
And your heart drowns out the beating
And all I can feel is your warmth
Even if the emotion is fleeting
Hold me just for now
Keep me from the rain
Just until it lets up a little
'Til I can walk away again




Six o'clock says the clock on the wall
Close my eyes and forever i fall
Lie here dreaming of rain never-ending
As the light breaks the dawn

'Cause i can feel the rain
Beating down on my skin
And it'll feel just the same
When the next storm comes




Rain-like silver words do fall
With loops and lines in shining precision
Meanings do sting in icy droplets
Unfurling form poet's swift-ish tongue

Petals of love's soft flowers curl
Wilted under rain's chilling argument
But soon wind will blow a new rain
Who’s gentle words nourish without burn
