Everybody is addicted, it's pleasure,
And only electrochemical.
We don't know it yet
But we are already consumed by it, ourselves.
Becoming the electrochemical;
We're only human.
Everybody is stupid, so shortsighted
We only know what we see.
And it's hard to feel
But we reject others' realities, hold on -
Bias new data to reinforce our own;
We're only human.
Are humans so "human"?
Everybody is a liar, it's true,
And anybody can lie to you,
But you are left to receive.
No one can stop it, we all can deceive,
Nobody to judge the false webs we weave.

Are humans so "human"?
We are so complex,
We twist our own shadows
And perceptions of ourselves
"Human" is an ideal, while humans themselves
Are something else aside.
It takes a twisted eye
To see what the twists in our shadows hide.
