Nostalgia is a Blessing pt.2

Fast forward to the future - this light came back into my life. It's not this ordinary light from the sun. You could say this light is somebody I used to know...
I came back on Gaiaonline, tirelessly seeking ways to contact this light for months... I grew kind of hopeless. I knew this might be God giving me a second chance at this pathway of life. Not wanting to go back to my lifeless partying... just maybe this light could shine on me again.

Through a miracle, I was able to contact this light through a family member!
Was it that my prayers for years were finally being heard? The loneliness I've been in for years coming to an end? My first text to this light began a start to a meaningful, loving relationship!

To me, this was nostalgia as a bridge between the past and present. Our first meet-up reconnecting was scary... I thought I got stood up! But she was quick because I didn't notice her enter the meet-up location at Paris Baguette! I was so nervous... But bringing up memories from our past - when we used to hang out as kids and the times I would ask this light to "kiss my cheek" - really broke the awkwardness... unless I made it more awkward! &.&

Catching up and telling each other what we've been through in life and what we missed about each other was another nice memory to add rent free in my head! I showed my vulnerabilities, as did she.

She didn't know this, but I was very interested in her and hoping to be with her someday... It seemed like a blessing to hear "Jesus says you need to see me first (￣▽￣)" come through her texts!

Every time we met was usually before she went to work. It was convenient, but it gave me a reason to get up early again, and being able to do this really helped me battle my chronic depression...
"You always buy my drinks!" the light says.

"You can repay me back by giving me a kiss..." Kisses cheek. "There!"

"No, on the lips!"
~~smooches~~

"s**t," she says.

And from there on, my depression has been getting better and I'm overjoyed about starting this relationship with this light! lol
