If I do it now will it last forever?
Pulling the trigger, my crimson stained fingers
won't ever leave your heart.
The looking glass, separating my dreams
from reality
will never become a window
that can let you in.
Looking back at it all, I see my face
reflected back,
speckled with every lie I told myself.
How can you see what lies within my soul,
when my own soul has been lost for ages,
kept locked up within these cages.
Losing my mind I wander through these streets,
hoping to see that face I only dream of
through that looking glass.
I'll show you what I'm made of,
every hope and fragment left inside me.
What's left of me is all I could ever give
and ever will.
Let these days pass as quickly as they came,
one after another, these tears won't fall forever
if I learn to keep my heart tied to these chains.
Your what I want, yet exactly what I'm scared to have.
My life's not as simple as it seems on my face,
I hold on but I want to run away from here.
Can you hold me close inside this place and tell me
I have nothing to fear. Your words are all that matters.
And if I fall, after crawling through this desolate place
can I make this world into something truly real.
Is it not enough, it's not enough, these fragile
human feelings will never be enough to stop
these unseen impulses....
